Respawn update on Cross Progression

This doesn't really concern me but I know a lot of folks here want cross progression really bad. Ryan Rigney, head of comms at Respawn, basically said that it is on track for 2022. That being said they also stated before that the next gen upgrade will release in 2021 having only a few months left in this year. Just a quick update since a lot of people really want this feature one way or another.

Edit: Removed Ryan's comment on Reddit since there's another thread about it already and I've expressed my opinions there.

Seriously though, this will benefit a lot of people, and has been desired for quite some time. In my opinion, multi-platform games should have cross-progression by default, in this day and age. Although, I doubt Respawn expected Apex to blow up like it did, and I have no idea how cross-progression works on the tech side, as far as legal/contract/red tape nonsense between companies.
