Respawn&EA Encouraging Cheaters??

It feels as though your forum policy and moderation behavior are practically making EA/Respawn accessories to the cheating occurring on PC or at the very least complicit.

So what you HWID ban? They don't work. We've seen it bypassed in less than 2minutes.

It's not enough to try to hide it by punishing the players that're trying to have conversations about a better solution; all this is going to do is further alienate them.

What incentive are you giving these players to care? NONE. Just a generic 'wE suRe dO cArE aND we'Re LOokiNg iNtO iT' auto-response.

I would definitely say that the player retention on PC is on borrowed time. It either gets a heavy handed course correction soon or apex will not survive.

They gotta get creative like that. Ofc cheaters will get 'creative' too and search: 'phone number generator' the first day but they gotta set this up so their system can't be abused again. Whether it verifies their email/location with the area code or region, maybe that will be enough so they can't use infinite numbers... but I like the idea.. something like that could limit the amount of cheating.

To play ranked in dota2 you must verify your account with a personal phone number which is also link to your account, they send you a txt with a code and if you dont do it you cannot play ranked mode.
also to play ranked mode you must play 15 matches against bots and 100 games unranked.
we need the same system this will keep cheaters from playing ranked system straight after been banned.

Imagine if Respawn just dropped the hammer on cheaters and required a more robust verification process that made it inconvenient to create new accounts the community would be not only loyal but it would grow tremendously. I am waiting for the first Dev to go this route and make it a PITA to create multiple accounts. I wouldn't care what kind of verification is required to make an account....I only ever need one.

Just got carried to champion by hacker (nickname all numbers) and guess what, the other (2-3) squads are also hacking! Hilarious...

Its so obvious when someone is cheating they just drop you in half a second. Spectate them and they got the classic crosshair locked on peoples head and looking through walls.

Yes, I saw the same thing.
Too many hacker vs hacker matches so far. 🤒
Also, they are very rude.
They are crying their language in a loud voice.
It sounds like a joke when cheaters complain their teammates but it is true.
