[CONTEXT: I'm someone who has played EVERY SEASON of APEX]After a MONTH of playing APEX LEGENDS Season 13, I can say this is by far been the Worst season EVER. I'm talking about GAMEPLAY, ignoring everything else(Events, Skins, LTM's, etc) Just talking about core gameplay.Ranked Changes have made Ranked a very Boring game, until the Final few rounds. I'm talking 10 teams left towards the END of the match.This has shifted ALL players who want BIG KILL games to play Public Lobbies, which has made Pubs much sweatier.So on the Polar Opposite of Ranked, when playing public matches, almost every squad HOT DROPS, resulting in every match having 10 or LESS squads remaining BEFORE Round 1 has even closed.The games Balance is all out of wack, making the games "FUN FACTOR" drop massively.Has this been anyone else's experience?

@SILVERisSORRYSomehow, in Plat 4, I'm always the last one standing in my team, and somehow, I'm always the one trying to find a spot in that last circle, and getting lasered by 8 teams having secured a position, all the while running like a headless chicken in the middle of said circle simply trying to stay alive! lolol It's absolute chaos, and nothing like previous rank seasons.The skill ceiling in Plat is still to this day pred pre-stacks, was reading somewhere that we should have already reached a bell curve with Gold being the peak, we're obviously far from that bell curve imo. If anything, Respawn should remove the split reset, cause ranks are taking way too much time to settle with players obviously playing in ranks they shouldn't be playing.As for pubs, I hate it, I don't play it unless it's duos for a quick warmup before rank....I always know what is going to happen regardless, teammate insta dies, insta leaves. Rarely does anyone bother staying in the game anymore.

@SILVERisSORRY I'd love make it alive for the last zones but most of the times i die because my teammates keep pushing early even if it means nothing lol. I support these changes but they should be applied only for Diamond (or Plat?) and above tiers imo, and bring back the old system in lower ranks. I'm stuck between Gold II and Gold I now where before after a good month i'd already be in Plat I at least. One good compromise could be the reduction of the entry cost and see how it goes.

@SILVERisSORRY Yeah there have been quite a few threads about this already. The ranked changes have been bad for the overall health of the game.

From my experience from the past how ever many seasons pubs hasn't changed its always been hotdrop or no fight and game over by the 3rd ring. Season 13 hasn't changed that, I also haven't noticed pubs being any sweatier than normal either.Ranked is about survival now which is the point of a BR so people are going to try stay alive until last few rings or they lose rp. If they reduced the entry costs a little for all ranks it might help a little with that, but I doubt it.

@SILVERisSORRY (Also playing since launch) I still have fun when I play, but in short bursts, mainly due to boredom and the fact that my two buddies don't get on Apex much anymore. I would play more this season, if the ranked changes didn't make pubs so dang sweaty, Lmao! I wanted to grind ranked this season to get a good feel for the new system, but I just don't have enough time to dedicate to any game these days, for a ranked grind to be worth it. I usually get on and play a few matches to work on challenges, and then switch to SW: Skywalker Saga or something else.One thing I have noticed when I'm playing this season, is that I have an easier time finding weapons/attachments, compared to previous seasons. Not sure if I did something to appease the RNG gods or what, but I've been able to find my preferred weapons with ease, which is a nice change of pace for meSo basically, I still have fun, but I don't play a whole lot these days. Just enough to keep getting the BP for free. It's easier to have fun on a game when I'm not grinding it

@SILVERisSORRYIt does seem to have polarized the community. I don't think its unfixable though. Just make kills for bottom half finishes worth a little more each split until it evens out. Simple solution, IMO.

@HappyHourSumwur Great Idea, the sweet spot is somewhere in there, between OLD Ranked & this NEW Ranked we have now.

I didnt stand a month. I was in TRIOS probly like after week... TRIOS is super fun now when there are actually Master/Preds rank players there...

I get that, but thats the way it's always been for me in pubs and it still is in season 13 hasn't changed that for me, my experience is exactly the same.
Especially on that map.

@SILVERisSORRY the rank changes were good in theory, but they were executed poorly. It also exposed how flawed the MM is in this game. after realizing that plat 4 and up is essentially pubs for master/pred stacks in ranked, I figure "why not chill in pubs"? unfortunately, it ain't happening with how sweaty it's gotten.

With rank and pubs being a mess on top of loba's Q being broken, (again) I haven't really been playing as much as i used to and It might be the first time where I don't hit 1000 games played for the season.

Each new Season I want a new game to appear even more bro.I couldn't agree more with what u r saying . All this multiplies by 3 when u a Solo player too.

Hard feel you on that one, I solo q all the time because I have no other option and I got so bored that it always me as the las man standing, doesn't matter if it's ranked or pubs.

I am not trying to be egoistic, but the MM gives me low level toxic players 99% of the time who just throw the game in 1 minute, drop hot and push every fight as a brain dead zombie

@SILVERisSORRY it's a bit better now with the small changes that were made in the second split.
Silver was sweaty fun but gold IV is seriously sweaty. Going on what has happened in previous seasons it should ease up a bit in G III and II and get real sweaty again in GI. Remains to be seen, but the additional points to get to plat have made it a serious grind that will take the whole split.
There just isn't enough time to get to diamond, what with all the additional points required, increase in jumpship fare and all the premade master teams creaming lobbies.......
I have noticed a huge increase in me getting attached to premade duo teams for some reason, by way of club logo.
I should make it to Gold III this evening.
