SBMM and audio got worse in season 5! Thanks Devs

I’m on board with every nerf, buff, addition to the game in the current patch. I got really because I always grind my @$$ off playing and I’d enjoy it. 

SBMM couldn’t get any worse but it actually sis with this patch and it has destroyed the game for me. I swear I’m not competing for 3M $. I’m an average player and I just want to play the game casually with my friends for heaven’s sake. Every squad we come up against play as if their life depend on it. It really frustrates me because I really like this game and I’ve never in my life spent money on a free game except for Apex Legends. Had I known that something so stupid would ruin an amazing game I wouldn’t have invested any time nor money on this game.


also they screwed up the audio, was it intentional to tone down the audio of footsteps??

    The audio has gone nuts....i can sometimes hear footsteps 150m away, but then people will be right in front of me on other occasions and not so much as a peep can be heard out of them.

    Yeh the audio is weird. But maybe we just gotta get used to it.

    But the SBMM is insane.

    you make 1 small mistake ur dead try again...

    You have just taken 6 wingsman bullets to the head because you tried to peek.

    Yes, and it's truly become infuriating. I feel like I suck at the game yet I'm fighting people with 20k and 4k damage badges? Got matched against a squad a while back and the one guy had 1500 season 4 wins. His teammates had numbers in the hundreds also. WTF indeed. Why am I being matched up with people I have 0 chance of beating? Feels like literally everyone is better than me, even though I play often? If I suck I should be matched with people who suck too, Respawn's system isn't working. Makes no sense and not everyone has the time to devote their lives to getting that much better.

    As for the audio, yes. It's way worse than any season before this one. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten screwed and just ran through by other squads cause I can't hear people coming up from behind. At times I was so close to just deleting the game. Game feels out of sync sometimes too, like there's more lag or something, I dunno.
