I googled what is considered a high kd in apex, apparently 2.5 is high?
It just doesn't feel that way. When you constantly get put together with 3 stack masters/preds.
It's especially not fair when I play with my friends that have lower kd.
On the other hand, I play on PlayStation and I can't find match without have to enable crossplay, I don't have 240 fps with 5 ping?

- @mikkeltorne1 It is ok. The MM has serious issues but yeah with a 2.5 kd you are probably in the top 1% of all players. I'd guess most players are less than .8 kd, maybe even .7. I know plenty of diamond level players who are around 1.2 or so if that gives you perspective.
Unfortunately what you mention about playing with friends is true. Premades get punished pretty severely as the game tries to as many premades together as possible. And the devs admitted that premade MM was going by the highest MMR in the group, although they said they were going to change it.I didn't know that 2.5 kd is high, but maybe it's because I compare my k/d to streamers and youtubers? Which seems low by then.
Yeah, the thing about premades are very unfortunate. My friends always tells me make a new account, I have tried it once and I feld like I was cheating.
Not only did I feel like I was cheating in game, but also myself, I didn't earn a victory, I took advantage of new players, which feels terrible and I believe is also a big no no.
- @mikkeltorne1 Plus it will not last. Smurfs are identified pretty quickly and moved up accordingly.
Ye and what's the chances of all 3 players being of the same ability and skill level, MMR has ruined this game for me!
- @mikkeltorne1 Oh and regarding crossplay. You don't have to worry about 240 fps as BR is consoles only with crossplay on. Mixtape has an issue right now putting pc and console together but BR does not.
@mikkeltorne1A 2.5 KDR is very good if not great. "Casual" players are 1.0 KDR or less who don't play much.
I'm a 1.0 KDR trash can who solo queues most of the time can and the MM still.puts me closer to your lobbies than it does to bot lobbies. If I'm running into you and your 2.5 KDR, it ticks me off.
