Season 16 Comeback

Respawn pulled the rabbit out of their hat on this season. I know there is no new legend, but the servers are not lagging, the matches are starting up fast, and today they have 3 maps in rotation!

I found Mirage's ship on all of them. Looks a lot better in one piece than it did crashed in AR. I am thinking, if you play as Mirage, this would be a good place to blend into the crowd. Epic loot there too. Broken Moon (BM) is still too bare even with his ship parked there. BM need some love and attention Respawn.

Ratting is more difficult now, with the new recon classes pinging you. I am not saying it is impossible to find a spot to hide, just very hard. Getting pinged is almost as bad as using the skill as it points out where you got pinged from. Oh look there is a team over there pinging us! So be careful recon.

While I don't see anything I want in this battle pass, I will hold off until near the end of the season to decide to bother getting it or not. With no new legend I will be able to hoard up the tokens for S17. While I will miss arenas, I will not miss people AFKing them. It was the abusers who really killed the arenas.

I have to say, my experience in the last 24 hours has been all positive. Good job Respawn!

@reconzero Also note that the 'Top XP authors' no longer shows a certain Cheese9Man?

The former LORD of Leaks and Discussions. And clearly a Type 2 player.

They've managed to seemingly run him off. That's not a good sign.

I heard @Cheese9Man got arrested breaking into the EA servers with several cans of gasoline and fire-axe. 👿
I hope he fine and doing well. I popped in to tell you of a funny match we just had on Storm Point. TS asked me if I needed to accomplish any goals before ending our session. I told him, I only had get 200 damage in a single match. TS said, it is amazing you manage to do everything else but that... how? I replied, I am an underachiever when it comes to competitive video games. I went in as Crypto and used my drone to ping the beacon. This act alone sure attracts squads like bees to honey.
After 2 successful zaps I only had 193 damage and was 3 squads near the final ring. TS was dead and asked, do you have gun? Almost any gun will do more than 7 damage. No all I had was my mythic blade of punching damage. I waited for the team to pass by while I hid behind the bamboo trees and ran up from behind and punched Bangalore in the face with my sword. Apparently I punched her so hard it knocked Crypto out of his reality and crashed my game. I got the points. Whoo hoo! All that work for 2 stars.
Where ever Cheese9Man is and what ever he is doing, I am sure he is having fun.
