I've been on this forum since maybe june? Mustve seen maybe 300 "the game is dying"statements made with the utmost confidence...a number of these statements made by people who are still active on this forum, so clearly still playing the game.
I'll believe it when it happens.
Wait times are just as short as always. For every person in a forum crying they are gonna quit there are 3 more people joining the game. The demands people make of a free game and the hurt they feel when their very specific and costly demands aren't made this very instant is hilarious.
- 6 years ago@AdotLone Wait times have increased. S1/2 was instant or maybe 5-10 secs at most but it can be anywhere up to a minute in normal games now.

What about fixing the existing problems?
- leaver penalty for normal mode
- single- / duo-gamemode (would also help to avoid leavers)
- incomplety squads in lobby (MM fails)
- SBMM avarage and above avarge level finetuning

I support single- and duo- playmode, to give everyone the possibility to play with the teammates he choses (or he choses not to chose)But as long as we don't have this modes, I think all players should give their best and not quit if the slightest unease appears...

If that was true this would mean the playerbase would be growing exponentially.
The actual numbers and graphs do not affirm that. 50 million unique account creations in the first month, and 70 million a year later. And that includes people who smurfing and banned players making new accounts.
If your argument held up, half the world would now be playing the game.
- GRiPSViGiL6 years agoSeasoned Ace@Flashshark1980 As a Whale for Mechwarrior Online I left that game because those dopes at PGI didn't deliver the game I was in person to see them layout at their 2013 launch tournament where I was a participant in. That player base was and is small anyway so their match making can't even work properly. In fact MWO is a perfect example how gamers allow dev's to take advantage of them.
I was a staunch defender of them and even have a Gold Summoner. I quit that game immediately after they dropped that poor excuse of a game mode for community warfare.
MWO penalties were silly also but not really the same kind of thing as leaving Apex. I can kind of get it for Apex but I think they shouldn't be a casual mode thing.
A game that wastes my time in a casual mode is one I will surely not play. - 6 years ago@apostolateofDOOM I just came back to the game a week ago i get put into a game almost instantly in both qp and the new event going on right now.
- 6 years ago@Mdrake76 Past couple weeks with The Grand Soirée we obviously had an influx of people returning for it.
The amount of players in game on my origin friend list has tripled with the return of KC compared to 2-3 weeks ago.
