The Overpowered Broken Weapons + the the low TTK has ruined the game.
The Devs have truly spread their cheeks and took a dump all over apex.
The problem is they totally messed up the game. Its not just the reduction to the armor.
They literally buff too many weapons, and totally destroys the game.
I don`t know who decided that is a good idea, to make a copy of Warzone, which compare to Apex in terms of a Low TTK competitor will always win against Apex, because the game as a whole is build around a low TTK, Apex was not.
And lets not forget this comes after 1,5 years, which was the worst thing to do. How can you pretty much change the base of a game, that everyone likes and play the game for.
You can make such significant changes if the game is in a open beta or the few months after the release, but not after 1.5 year of existent.
They start all this with the constant introduction of new legends and gave too much power to the abilities, which should never have been a game changer, but just be there to defy the legends and help in the game, but not to be game changer, like they are pretty much now.
And not to mention there was talks for a months that Bangalore will finally get some love, and what they did ? Reduce her ultimate time, which should never be that high, from the very beginning, which do exactly nothing for her, cause her ultimate is probably a tie for the worst/most useless ultimate in the game.
And instead they buffed Bloodhound who was already in a very good spot, and strong enough.
All this just tells you how, they are just trying to do new shiny stuffs and they totally don`t know what they are doing, and pretty much don`t know how to balance the game at all.
Apex was a great game, because of the movements, the duels that was possible because of the good TTK the game had(it was never high or too high at all, just normal), you could outplay your opponents, because of the good TTK. But the game pretty much not worth it, because it has trash servers from the very beginning, which they pretty much refuse to fix, a lot of bugs that are still troubling us, audio broken from day 1, and pretty much cheaters take over since Season 5. Its big time infested and Respawn ain`t doing nothing.
Instead of constantly adding new things that makes the game unbalance, they should have focus on fixing the existing problems.
