What is going on this season, I'm literally shooting someone less than 10 ft away, full purple gun, all my shots in a straight line and its like only half of them are registering?? Why is the hit reg so bad this season?
It's happening to me too. Sometimes only the first shot registers and then all others do absolutely no damage, yet you hear the bullets make the noise as if they hit. Imperial Hal during his livestream pointed this problem out as well, and said there was a nerf to aim assist for season 30 where aim assist is no longer rotational, it only works for still shots. He claims this is part of the crackdown on using filters and jitter aiming. If this is true they need to undo this right away, as there will be no way for controller players to compete against MnK.
Anyway, it has been nearly impossible for me to get a kill in any mode this season. Last season I was getting 10 to 12 kills per match with 3k damage. This season it's mostly zero kills, sometimes one assist, and under 30 damage each match. Frustrating. They need to address this hit reg issue in a statement since the game has had this problem off and on since season 20, but it's never been this bad before.
