Respawn have always been quite careful about adding new game modes to Apex on a permanent basis, the main question is whether Arenas Ranked splits the player base unnecessarily. Again I do not think so, their are a lot of players that play all the ranked and non ranked modes at different times. In a 6 hour game session I will normally play about 2-3 games each of Ranked and non-ranked Arenas, as well as quite a few Pub Br matches and many more BR ranked matches. The arena's games are to fulfill Challenges but mostly to Warm up for BR ranked play, much better than the firing range.

  Regular. I never play ranked ANYTHING. If there is only ranked, I do not play the game/mode.

  No idea. I just re-installed the start of this season to see if regular BR pubs matchmaking didn't suck. Have not played enough yet to know.

All that said, I think that if they keep a ranked/unranked split on Arenas, then like BR leaving unranked should have no penalty. I suspect a lot of people don't play it because they play the game casual and while they might expect to stick a whole match, sometimes life happens (or a dog vomits on your feet) and you just can't. Unranked Arenas should be just as casual as unranked BR.

If it's needed to remove Ranked Arenas just to 'make room' for a new permanent mode though, remove it and GIVE THOSE PEOPLE AIR CONTROL!

@CabowseRemoving a ranked mode is very hard, specially for people who grind it. But I do believe there is no need to have pubs and ranked arenas when literally less than 15% of the people even play the mode. So just get rid of pub arenas.

So we would have BR Pubs (duos&trios), BR Ranked, Ranked arenas and an LTM that rotates frequently. And if that happens, make the map rotation different to pubs plz, i want to avoid stormpoint as much as possible

@CabowseI do enjoy playing ranked arenas, and just think it should be consolidated to one section, like trios and duos are. That would make physical space for a rotating ltm of sorts. Could rotate like control - gun game - floor is lava type mode (idk)
