Both are very strong 1v1 characters and fun to play. It's hard to say just where Fuse is right now because surely he is much better with the buffs but it's only been a few days and Fuse is not super popular.
I'd look at it this way. Would you prefer to outplay someone by fooling them, or just with straight up aggression?

- @0xznn The Gaming Merchant posted a Fuse video a couple days ago that really showcases what you can do with him now. See that and consider whether it suits you. The ending of the game is hilarious and explosive. You've likely seen a decent amount of Mirage plays already. If I had to pick myself, I'd definitely choose Mirage.
Legend tokens may seem slow in coming at first, but if you play regularly you'll level up and have all the legends faster than it feels. So don't worry about it too much.
