No it doesn't, either you're using 7.1 with headphones (which is bad) or your hearing is terrible, or your headphones are terrible, or both.
No. This is NOT a headset problem. Even 3 years later I am still having this problem, and so are my various amount of friends who play this game. I am constantly running into reddit posts also regarding this issue. I have a very good headset, with surround sound. On other games like cod for example, I can hear exactly where the enemies are. On Apex, I have no idea. And that's if I even get a sound queue. Half the time I don't even have any footstep audio and they're right on top of me or sprinting directly at me. This is especially prominent with jump pads, players notoriously, nearly EVERY time have NO sound whatsoever when jumping from one. Sound is awful in this game and always has been. How much was respawn paying you to say this? lol.
- 3 years ago@5eunsg5kxq3z I agree. Of all the BR's, Apex has the worst audio. For a long time, I thought Warzone was bad...then I started playing Apex. It's irritating because you spend a good amount of time on a game, then somehow people just appear right behind you with no audio, and you basically feel like you got robbed of that game.
