Slow Motion Servers
What is up with those slow motion servers? Today i've been in one every 10th game or so. This latest one was REALLY slow! 10 sec in game took like 1 minute in real life. AND NO! Admins, the problem...

Just around hotspots. Mostly Skulltown. Stay away from skulltown and you should be fine.
P.S. It's not uncommon to still find 5+ squads in skulltown in middle of the game = still lagging.
- It's not just hotzone that is affected. it affects the whole server when it happens.
I've had multiple occasions where i fight 5 squads in skulltown and don't experience any lag.Don't think so. I've "run out" of lag zones (obviously it's much bigger than just one town; e.g., thunderdome is always affected in full when skulltown is lagging) plenty of times. Going back seems to bring back the lag (although I don't think I've done it that many times). Could have been a coincidence I guess. I don't experience it that often.
The way this game deals with server lag IS quite weird though. Usually in other games it's "teleportation", "frame"-skipping, rubberbanding. I'm not sure which approach I like more though. I just take comfort in knowing that everyone is slow (at least I hope everyone is), so odds are equal.
P.S. I personally never experienced it outside early game (up to maybe 3 min in the game, no more). PC, game on SSD.
- At times where i have had slow motion servers, it usually starts the moment you join, before you pick your legend. So it must be more then just your average "5 squads in a hot zone". I just hope that they are looking into it.
