Smoke trails

At the start of the game when everyone is jumping how come not everyone has a smoke trail? I've had it happen to me over and over where I do not see a single smoke trail following me to my destinatio...

I am experiencing this as well on PC, I also seems to be stuck in the air for a couple of seconds when immediately jumping, it's really strange.

Lag? doubt it, 400mbs down. 100mbs up.

I've experienced too form time to time, also on XB1, but I had never considered it to be a graphical bug. I always just assumed the other squad were late jumpers and that's why I didn't see them. But if this is in fact a bug then hopefully it gets addressed
