In the patch notes they usually have a whimsical message for new features yet this time it also said ‘auto sprint’ instead of ‘no more pressing down’ or something with the description afterwards...
@MandatoryIDtagit’s just as wingmannedbro stated. Except for crouching I believe. If you crouch and full on tilt the analog stick you still crouch
What do you mean what "we" meant with auto sprint?
Cause that was mostly me being vocal about that and I got exactly what I wanted. Works great this way.
What did you think auto sprint would mean, other than automatically sprinting without needing to toggle it on with a button press?
I think this is a case of you being confused, and really not something the devs did.
@Wingmannedbro Auto sprint fortnite style where you press the analog stick and you can go to the kitchen to get a glass of milk, come back and see that you’ve fallen from the edge of the map and spit out your milk by sheer disbelief.
I tagged you cause IDtag didn’t know the mechanics yet and you explained it properly.
I think other ppl, if I’m going by this thread, thought the fortnitely way as well and seeing that in the new ‘we’ll work on it’ auto sprint is the actual you’ll sprint without imput, more ppl meant that

- @Wingmannedbro Nahhh nahhh! Screw that workaround xD. I once ran into a squad (very early in the game) that way XD. Was half paying attention and suddenly saw a random character...
I and my controller like auto sprint. My left thumb need some brain adjustment since I had bad habit for half year, take some time to get used to it again,
especially when looting since I used to push up to max (hurry up to get loot), now I've to take it easy.
