Haven't played this game in forever. I always asked for a solo mode forever caused ya know.. leavers are annoying. Come back now to see an Apex Elite queue and I'm like ok...I'm not against playing a little more sweaty. Get to last 3 squads and we're in a rough spot near the edge of the ring but no big deal. We can re-position, heal up and fight again. I'm outisde for 3 seconds and I die...? I thought this was a bug. Looked it up and this is an intentional decision by the devs. Whelp..looks like I'm gone for a while again lol.

If this game came out with the circle doing 25% damage per tick, we wouldn't be having this conversation... People just whine because they didn't have anything to fear in the normal mode. In my opinion, the Elite Queue is the better version and should be implemented normally. People talk about "metas," well how about the pointless "meta" of purposely going into the circle to fight teams because there's no fear of damage until the last two circles? That's ridiculous.

Yeah, very elite play.Just to add, I came across a squad of 2 camping market in a room with Caustic traps up. One was lay on top of the racking and another hid on top of a cupboard in the corner baiting us to enter. We killed them no problem by arc starring them and picking them off through the door. If we had rushed in all guns blazing, we'd be dead.Campers on the whole are easy prey, unless you are running round like a headless chicken not looking at your surroundings, far to preoccupied with your kill count, which does not win you games.

Yeh the circle hits you around once every 3 seconds believe?
It does max 25% dmg.
its not a bug or mistake from the game.
So you stepped out of the circle with less then 25% hp and died.
AKA you messed up. and only a * would blame the game for it.
And it makes perfect sense.
It din't make sense there was a storm all the dialogue is about a world of pain.
But you could celebrate your kids Bday party in there becouse its safer in the storm then outside it.
Now the storm is fierce and its part of the event.
Next to that. If dying from the zone ruins the game for you.
You where playing it wrong to begin with.
And to make things worse,
You don't even have to play elite.

@Kevin-Ate-Nine Played in forever? considering game is like 4 months or so old? Maybe also read the Updates of the game, if your not wanting to expect something that wasn't in last patch.

Yeah the storm is put on steroids in elite mode. I dislike it too, it creates of meta of camping and hiding in the ring.
And never fight outside of next zone so the storm won't kill you. It's actually anti-elite in how it affects the game.
The actual elite teams keep dying to the ring cause they slay squads, guess they are too elite for elite mode, while noob campers advance to top 5 squads with no effort at all.

Entitlement, elitism and high self valuation are strong with some on this forum. @Silz616 your right, only thing I want fixed is loot system hitboxes and the hackers, witch I know hackers are hard to get rid of. but something better needs to be done about it than what they are doing , Goes for the BR game best one out there , fast pace movement game love it.
