@Lord_Scorpion34 Yeah, for people like me, who don’t always have a friend online to play with, having a SOLO Mode would be amazing.

Maybe Respawn doesn’t want to release a mode that takes away from the core formula, being 1st and foremost a TEAM based Battle Royale.

Idk, all I know is, if they had a dedicated SOLO Mode, I would be playing APEX a lot more, instead of playing other games. (whenever I get fed up with APEX, I play other games that make me feel happy, like FORZA or Need for Speed)

@SILVERisSORRY They’re too concerned about queue times and having the excuse of “it’s a team game”. If I were them, just replace duos with solos. The only sad thing about solos is that some legends would absolutely be useless like lifeline.

@Cheese9Man Idk though, Lifeline having a self healing drone. I don’t see her as useless.

  @SILVERisSORRY And a wicked-to-hit combination of hitbox and strafe, no longer with low profile. But I think a stronger argument can be made for certain legend choices, such as lifeline, putting one at a distinct disadvantage overall compared to others. Some players will welcome the challenge, just like they do in the team modes.

@Cheese9Man It's not just that but you'd probably have problems with people "teaming up" thus throwing any balance totally out the window. I think it's a terrible idea that is doomed to fail.
Was this not tried already as a limited time mode?

@Cheese9Man see my previous post in response to the queue times. Also team game dynamic is pretty broken with how sbmm is whenever you actually try to team with friends, plus bad sportsman randoms. If anything, Solos can help strengthen the team dynamic by letting players get better at 1v1s & other skills that could translate to them being a better player. Especially players new to the game. They get a better understanding of the mechanics of the game & adapt to it without worrying about slowing down more experienced players or hearing discouraging talk from them which can help with new player confidence.

  Well, a mode shouldn't be discounted just because people might team. Then we can't have trio ranked either. They should just ban and remove people who team. Ez clap. And I think Scorpion is right here, it would be a good mode for people to learn some core mechanics at their own pace and not have a 3-stack revtaning your *** on trios.

    @CCbathwater Whilst you are not wrong in principle but I imagine teaming in 3 team squads would be much more difficult logistically (odds of being put in same match) so it's less of an issue. I'm sure it happens but nothing like Solos. Still think it's a bad idea and they've already tried it.
    EA will be doing close analysis on new modes introduced and as it hasn't become "a thing" yet I am guessing their analysis is similar to what I've said. They would introudcue it then you'd get a non stop flood of bitching on here about teaming, etc. I can't say I disagree.

  @Lord_Scorpion34I'm not against solos. I actually want solos to come back and replace duos. I'm just telling Respawn's typical excuse of queue times and "apex is a team based game".
  
  On Lifeline, of course all legends can still be used on solos but why would you pick lifeline compared to wraith, octane or pathfinder in solos? Nothing against LL but you're severely limiting yourself to a passive-less legend in solos.
