Still perma banned - and EA says stop asking
So I'm still perma banned - accused of cheating. Which I didn't do. I had validated my account was not hacked. Since all of my stats were still my own. I have continued to keep asking EA to unban...

@EA_AljoAnd yet they will no longer accept a dispute from me. Within <5mins it was rejected. So it seems like that method only works if they find a hacked account. If something else fired the ban off, and it doesn't show a hacked account info, they don't seem to do anything.
Even when you didn't do anything to cheat, you're still labeled a cheater and perma banned. Fundamentally there has to be another way then just going through the ToS's website request.
It is clear that there are other's like me (such as @B0n3SawMcSizzla) who are stating the exact same thing, and the ToS has basically said, we can't handle over turning it.
And yet we've seen higher profile people manage to get it fixed, using another method. So it is clearly workaround-able depending on influence.

Community ManagerWe can't discuss other player's accounts. If they had bans overturned, it would be due to finding evidence that the ban was made in mistake. After multiple thorough investigations, ToS hasn't found anything to support that your ban should be lifted. I understand how frustrating this is, but there is nothing whatsoever we can do about it through Answers HQ. We cannot handle anything at all that is account-related. Bans are absolutely, 100% up to ToS so continuing to make requests on Answers HQ is not going to help.
@EA_AljoSo I'm more treating this as a communication method to others. And as a way to reach others in a similar boat. I already know that the Answers HQ can't help - I got that both from the very beginning when I started down trying to deal with this, and all the FAQs that exist.
Even when I first posted some of the comments I got from others were - we've never heard of any time ToS has overturned a Perma Ban that didn't have some sort of proof of hacking.
Which so far has held true. Which keeps bring me back to having to comment to others on here to let them know that this is still holding true.
If people stop commenting on it, or stating the same fact, then I get what I heard - some one shows up - complains they didn't cheat.. Doesn't get anything and then stops coming around...
Therefore they are just making that comment up, and we can keep treating anyone who says that as cheaters, and not provide help.
I refuse to be that type of person. I'll keep coming back. Keep making the same comments, and keep trying to bring this message up. If the overall Answers HQ are not given the right power, then maybe they can bring these types of messages up to a higher authority in some weekly or monthly meeting, which in the future can help improvement the quality of life for the Answers HQ community team members, and the Player Community people.
When a system is shown to have some issues, sometimes it just takes 1 or 2 voices to keep bringing things up to help promote a set of change to occur.
If people stop trying to make a difference, it makes for a horrible world to live in. And I don't like those types of worlds, which is why I always tend to show up and try to make a difference somehow, even if it seems like a losing battle. At least I put the time and effort into trying to improve things for others.- @BinkDeBook Or you could just try not cheating next time. Probably easier. That sends a good message for players too.

I've been stating since it first occurred back on April 9th. I've been very clear that I never cheated. And you continue to show the type of trolls here that:
1) Drive people away
2) Cause havoc and problems
3) Can't stand believing others
I've had my EA account for going on 10+ years, if not longer. I've been gaming for going on 25+ years. What reason would I have to cheat? It's a game you play to have fun, I've never found cheating fun. In general a cheater does it for some monetary value or just to show off. I could care less about any of that, I was using it to relieve some stress from work and spend time with my son.
The specific PC Apex Legend account I'm dealing with I had grinded during Covid up to level 286 from around 40ish before covid. My max kill game is like 2!. Over an entire year - I SUCK AT THE GAME! 🙂
It was used an
A) An escape from work, since I've been working at home doing my stressful job since Covid hit, and instead of being able to leave work at work, It a more constant source of things to deal with.
B) To play a game with my son that he enjoyed playing (with him on the PS4 under my account). We had found Apex back just after it dropped and he had played it. And had spent a year begging me to join him, so I finally did.
Most of the time I was playing the game with him. When it wasn't with him, it was trying to just get better at the game so I didn't hold him back.
But go right ahead - think that everyone is cheater, since it something you would do.
The system that presently exists doesn't have a way to clear things unless it's blatantly clear that the account was hacked.
I'm just trying to get my name cleared, this name and account is me, and always had been me. And I've always been someone who fights for things that are right, argues rules and such, and dislikes cheaters of all sorts. Right down to talking to Refs when I'm coaching about how they missed this rule, and showing it to them.
You can't teach kids, including your own, to make good choices, if you yourself can't do that. Which is why I've always tried to make those types of good choices.
So being accused of cheating is one of those things I can't stand, and fight against with all my effort. @BinkDeBookYou're wasting your time explaining yourself to people like that.
There have been many instances of people being banned and not being successful and others who have come through and let us know they got their acc back. I didn't read the whole thread but when you appealed, did you provide any log in details (times/dates/locations ie IP) or is there a red flag on this? I don't know if you have access to that info now or not but it should have been part of their investigation unless they expect you to provide it... Minimal effort on their end wouldn't surprise me...
In all honesty, i doubt you'll get very far if they won't even look into it now.- @apostolateofDOOM So far every single instant I've seen of people recover it have found information showing that the account was hacked. In my case there is no information or stats changes showing it was hacked.
So it has to be something else, but I can't determine what possible item fired the system to feel this way about my account.
Every thing on this forum and every where else states, other then being able to provide that type of information, no other information is looked at.
So it wouldn't matter that I show how my stats suck, and how bad I play, they won't look at that. Or comment about anything on it.
And yes I know he's a troll. Sometimes it's just fun to poke at the trolls, and treat them like people even when talking to them. It helps other people in the long run not have to deal with them. - @BinkDeBook Have you checked previous logins and anything look suspect?
Otherwise there isn't much more that i could do to offer help if it was something on your machine that flagged it. Best of luck with it though. - @apostolateofDOOM Unfortunately the data set I got only showed the last 10 logins. And I had exited and restarted trying to log back in multiple times, since I had no email about the ban, it just occurred right when I tried to log in the next data. Then changed my password, enabled 2 factor, etc.
I did go through every stats on every character and nothing odd stood out.
I'm not even sure it was something on the machine. The day before the ban I ended up in yet another lobby game where it was under what seemed to be a DDoS attack. We managed to eventually connect in and land away from groups. But I still feel like the Anti Cheat mechanism just flagged anyone who didn't get kicked right away, or die right away a possible cheater, and banned them all. Me among them.
When, on the next day I tried to log in, to work on the missing 100 damage I had left to get Watson to 20K (so I got to 8 characters with 20K), the banned message popped up. Leading me to go down the path of asking why.
After I sent the why via the ToS email, the next day from that was when I get the you are banned message.
So it took me asking why am I banned to get a you are banned message. - @BinkDeBook Not much else i can suggest i'm afraid.

- @BinkDeBook We have know way to know that any of what you're saying is true. It's sad, but that's the internet. You could be a 20 year old making up a sob story because he got his hand caught in the cookie jar.
So talking about all this "evidence" of the countless people who have been "hacked" and banned "injustly" and yet are PERMA-banned has no weight. You'll forgive me if I find most of these threads lacking in credibility.
Remember, cheating isn't just aimbotting. It involves smurfing, using macros, etc., etc. - @BinkDeBook Presenting the opposite side of an argument isn't trolling. You're trying to create sympathy for all these "poor, poor banned players." Well, I for one am sick and tired of cheaters in this game. And yet somehow we're supposed to believe that all the people posting about losing their accounts are all innocent!
Yes, because no actual cheater would try to get their account back, right? None of them would post. Right? The only people who cheat would post on here and say, "guys, I cheated. I deserved the ban." LOL. - @LaughingSharko Since last season we had a major influx of banned accounts where some got reinstated while others didn't for not providing enough evidence or being followed through the appropriate channels or recreating tickets after not hearing back and a thread by a CM during that time also stating what to do if your account had been compromised and/or banned. All in the same period of time.
There is either something on their end providing false positives or a very successful phishing attempt that effected many users or something else along those lines so while i don't know if he's telling the truth or not in this case, if you don't know if he's innocent or guilty then keep your accusations to yourself if you're unable to help as you clearly don't have a clue what the case may be. - @LaughingSharko Feel Free to look up who is BinkDeBook.. I own it. Initial web creation was approx. 1998. But that's fine believe what you want. I agree cheaters suck. I haven't even created a new account to play on with my son yet, because I've no idea why I got banned..
- @apostolateofDOOM That's the whole point. None of us here on this forum can do anything to help him/her. None of us will ever know if he/she is guilty or innocent. Although the fact that he/she was banned permanently rather than temporarily and had the case looked at over 3 times leads to more to believe in guilt rather than innocence.
You have no proof that there is anything wrong with the detection system for cheaters. All you have to go off of is the words of people who have been banned and claimed to be hacked. Many of whom brag on social media after getting unbanned that they were able to get away with it.
Mind you, I'm not saying the OP doesn't have a right to say whatever he/she wants about his/her ban. I also have the freedom to keep expressing doubt, especially when there seems to be a "let's all us 'falsely banned' players unite" vibe going on.
Again, how many people have you seen posting and admitting to cheating? Do you think that's something that will ever happen? - @LaughingSharko You're correct - no one on this forums can help. The EA ToS team basically seems to only be able to help mostly on hacked accounts - which is fine. But I asked the first time what happened and why - got no response. Asked a 2nd time and was told they don't give you any information. And the 3rd+ has been we closed this we won't look at it any more.
I can ask what they think I did - and get no answers. I can state things over and over again - and really it's my statements vs. the world.
And your welcome to your opinions. And there are definitely cheaters.. definitely people who work the system. When I first got I banned I posted my stats and said how could some one who mostly sucks at this game be cheating? If you want to see them, go look at my first post for help about it.
My vibe on the falsely banned is that having watched the forums for the last 2 couple months, I see a handful of people who state the same thing, show some sort of proof that maybe they didn't do it (and given the information I see some of them seem to be telling the truth -maybe I'm being gullible, but some of what they state and show is similar in feelings to mine).
I also see some people who popped in, state it, and then never come back. And early on when I first posted it, the sentiment from heavy posters was - everyone is a cheater who says they were banned.
So my post to unite is more - don't assume everyone who got banned was a cheater. Take what people say with a grain of salt sure.. But treating people directly like a cheater is similar to treating some one who claims something bad happened to them as a lier just because you, personally don't want to have to believe them since it breaks one of your main ideals.
The problem here is that the gaming community is treating people like they are guilty until proven innocent. And the only way to prove their innocence seems to lie with a company who doesn't have to provide evidence or show anyone, including the accused what is believed to have occurred.
All I asked from EA/ToS was what do you believe I did, so I can either provide evidence to the contrary, or be able to say, oh I didn't realize that odd thing must be a problem, since it's not documented anywhere.
And that specific information has been denied me. And from a handful of other people, same type of thing.
So sure - keep calling anyone who is banned a cheater. But understand that EA/ToS and the system can mark anyone for it, ban the account permanently, and don't have to show or prove anything. No first time warning, no we think we see an issue, if you don't stop we will ban you.
Just outright one day playing the game, the next not able to.
So keep that in mind when you talk things in a high and mighty way. Watch out that you don't end up on a server that is DDoS a few times, but don't die out right. Or something along those lines... And then find that your account is banned...
I.e. you could have the same thing happen, and then the same people you treat as having to be a cheater since EA banned them, without sending them any proof, are now the same as the person you have become. And people who are like you now, treat you in the same way.
It this reason I keep talking, and bringing it up. The overall fundamental system is designed to just ban people, and unless it is easy to prove (ala hacker info showing due to IP address), nothing is done. - @BinkDeBook You have no idea how the system works. You were banned. They investigated. You're still banned. Case closed.
This won't happen to me because I am careful to follow the TOS. Much like other players who have been here season after season without any kind of problem. Who still are here this season as well. @LaughingSharko If a large wave of players get banned, some of which are legitimate players and a portion of them get their accounts back at the same time of an official post from @EA_David then there is obviously something falsely flagging on the system for them to overturn those bans or another known reason and as this has continued since, then that same thing is either still in place or we're still dealing with the aftermath of it.
You can have your doubts, as we all do (myself included) when this comes up...
You might be right, but you could also not be, and giving a user who is potentially innocent a hard time who has already lost his account and come out the backend of a notoriously crap customer service provided by EA (i have also dealt with them too in the past and it was my persistence that payed off) by being perma banned and unable to even now appeal when we should take it at face value till proven otherwise.

I've found that most gaming companies, EA included, tend to err on the side of being too lenient against cheating, not the opposite. They go out of their way to avoid permanently banning paying customers, unless their logs show firm evidence of cheating.
As for players who are unbanned because of providing evidence of "hacking," I believe even many of them are guilty, but EA can't prove it so they unban. VPNs are so cheap these days. - @LaughingSharko That is a hilarious statement, that gaming companies error on being too lenient. In terms of "free to play" games like Apex, you fundamentally can just create a new account. The basics of the ban can be... Ban people, and if it's not an easy thing to decide (i.e. looks like a hack), just keep them banned, and make them make a new account.
For them they get the money they want either way. I will say this. Either it being you on the account or someone else the account breached the terms of service. They have a lot of logs in place that can back up their choice made. Something clearly showed on their end that the account breached the TOS. They will also not accept any proof or videos from users. Their logs show everything they need to see.
- @E9ine_AC I believe we have had this conversion before, I can't find a thing in the TOS that I did. All I have in conjectures and ideas of things that had me in the wrong place at the wrong time, or as I said, playing on a PC Account with the same name as the PS4 Account that my son was on (so people think I'm cheating by dual boxing or such?), and using a PS4 controller on the PC Account as a communication medium to the downstairs (via the PS Software that lets you connect a PC to the PS4), so I could more easily talk with my son (ala like you would do with discord on PCs).
Beyond those two things, and a few unlucky server issues, I can't think of anything that I did that was out of ordinary.
Wireless mouse? Self build PC, that sometimes goes a bit weird on me when I bring it out of sleep?
Sure as heck isn't my stats or win rate.
