I did one google search just now. All I asked was how many banned cheaters there were in Apex legends. The top three or four stories said 500,000 or so caught. I don’t know how you did not come up with that number as well. I speculate a majority of the cheaters are on pc. For arguments sake let’s say 80% of cheaters are on PC and PC is 1/3 of all the player base. Approximately 17 million pc players...with 400,000 band accounts. If my example math is accurate, I’m speculating it’s on the safe side of guesses. 2.35% of all PC players got caught cheating thus far. With 60 people per game we are looking at a cheater every single game on PC. And that’s people who have got caught. Many more have not been caught. It’s easy to go a game without seeing one of them but after many games you do see them or lose to one and for a BR that is a very high amount. If overwatch or fortnight I had this kind of cheating they would not be played anymore. This is why people are complaining. Because the game has a lot of cheaters and in a BR it has a very powerful impact.

Unfortunatly, your discussion didn't add any value to the cheating problem that affects this game on PC platform. Probably you are trying to be that "cool" guy that keeps saying that game hasn't cheaters, yes, those kind of guys that we found in every game's forum. But you forgot one thing, experience players detect cheaters quite fast and probably some already posted here against your "vision" (or lack of vision) here.

I think OP, when claiming he has'nt seen many cheaters in game, is referring to blatant aimbotting or "rage hacking".
ESP, anti recoil, fov aimbot etc all play a part in cheating and without knowing what to look for can be quite hard to notice when watching someone.
At the risk of sounding like a fanboy, Respawn are doing a great job with combating the problem as it is a constant uphill battle with new and imaginative ways hackers get around the anti-cheat processes in place.

"This player is really good at snapping targets, it might look like cheating but it's not." "Kids are playing all day, so they're just good." "head to head without a single miss."
I knew he was using cheats from his first post. He got banned from cs 10 years ago, I don't see why he wouldn't. They will come into the forums and try to downplay the crisis in-game as a ploy so this period of cheating can last. Plus the Canadian servers are full of cheaters... so how have you not seen any cheaters?
If you can remember being 15, you had friends that are better than you who might refuse using cheats. Getting ridiculed will persuade you to cheat your way to being skilled, instead of just practicing to become just as good. But at that age you don't care about the repercussions or how it would affect the game, new player experience, or someone's day at EAC.
Plenty at age 20/30+ too that think they can't aim anymore. If their crosshairs are aimed at the general direction of someone, not on them, but they're landing every shot clip after clip... it's pretty obvious.
If a new player's squad does really well and then faces a cheater, it's easy to think that you're not very good and quit. Most players aren't inclined to use cheats, not permanently. Sorry but you can't aim better than Shroud overnight, it's the reason all content stopped for Apex, and people are already learning how to outplay bots.

Well, I am 34 and I think I could still aim ok with the default tiny grey dotted crosshair. 🙂
