Teammates running away from every encounter in ranked

What does a ranked system that favours placement over kills and knockdowns get you? a game mode where everyone does nothing but camp until the final ring or runs like the wind at the slightest soun...

It really depends on the situation.

But... oh, come on... which map is in the current Ranked Mode?

King's Canyon!!

It has small, conjested, many choke points terrain...

Do you think it is a good idea to fight in early game?

Then you will be 3rd partied.

(If you want to fight, maybe it is not enough to just down 1 enemy.)

And anyway, you will be faced many enemies in the later game.

IMO: Kings Canyon is not good for the ranked mode.

I never say it is a bad map.

But it is not suitable for the ranking system. 🤔

@Sati_Sati There is a reason KC isnt being used in the current ALGS tourneys.

  The ranked system favors kills over placement. Always has and always will.

    @KelRiever not really.
    You have a limit to how much kills/assist you can get in a game and after that it all relies on your teams placement. The higher your team places the more multiplier and placement points you'll gain so it's much smarter to just play it safe as much as possible.
