That still will not work, all you are doing then is splitting the player base up, what happens then is the que times get longer to find a match and as the game progresses the newer players will have to wait longer and longer to get a game as everyone else will have moved onto the higher lvl matchmaking, this is why this sort of system is not used in FPS games.
I'm actually wondering if you even bothered to read the thread at all after you posted two comments that are both covered within it.
Your first comment is the exact thing this system would prevent, proving my point how necessary this is. Then your second comment is you retracting it and thinking of another excuse that is also covered in the topic because somebody pointed out you didn't read it. The solution to your second argument is the expanding bracket system based on queue times and player volume.
So yes this system would work and yes it would be better for both new players and experienced alike.
Furthermore, this system is not used in FPS games because there are no FPS games that require matchmaking like this aside from BR games. Hence why there are issues with the matchmaking systems in BR's. Most FPS games that employ a matchmaking system are setup the way the previously mentioned games are. That's because they aren't BR's and dont work with the same numbers of players per round.
This isn't a fix based on skill level, that's impossible for BR's. Its a fix based on experience and game time.
