It is interesting the footprint of a Leviathan is like an oasis in the desert.
Can they grow plants? Are they fertile?
The Boneyard (Graveyard of Leviathans) in Titanlfall1 was a completely wasteland though.

@Sati_Sati i suppose between the leviathans being pretty messy eaters (scattering foliage everywhere that would naturally decompose into soil) and the nearby water source it would make for pretty fertile ground.
I Doubt respawn thought into it that deeply though, probably just bit of conveniently placed greenery to hide the gold goodies. ;p
