The loot distribution needs work

Land at labs, kill the one duo squad that was there. We proceed to loot the rest of it. 90% of the guns were RE-45 or alternators. There was 1 mastiff, 1 TT, loads of energy ammo and loads of heavy but not a single heavy gun aside from 1 wing man. 

I keep running into this in which the loot is just bad and it's next to impossible to piece together a load out. Your basic options were grab a low tier gun with amo and no attachments or a decent gun with no ammo. 

The dropping a volt with less than 40 ammo needs to be fixed. You pick it up expecting to loot more ammo.. Clear out a place the size of of Lava Fissure and can't find any. Now you're stuck in the position of dumping it and running through lava city again or hoping you can loot some as you avoid a fight.

  • It does some to have gone backwards at some point lol.

    12 games played yesterday and landed on the following.

    P2020/mozambique combination for 5 games, had to move to an entirely new area for better weapons.

    Eva/Lstar for 3 games on drop, again had to leave the area entirely for something worthwhile.

    No weapons on drop for 2 games. (Ran around like a headless chicken trying not to get shot...)

    2 games with decent weapons on drop, but no bodyshields. XD

    Since the start of S6 i've noticed worse RNG than usual. You can loot 5-6 bins and find no weapons or no armor, but then you can find a volt with extended mag and some ammo as well, or simply a gun with 1/2 attachments right next to it.

  • @DarthValtrex Doing my event challenges last night people kept landing hot and half the time found myself running about with nothing, it's a bit ridiculous and takes any skill out of early game and gives free kills to the lucky one.

    @MandatoryIDtagI think it's tied to the crafting stations and the gun rotations in that. That's when I first started noticing it.

    I think the fact that some guns are pulled out of the RNG and placed into the crafting terminals, it's throwing off the RNG for the rest of the loot distribution. I think a bit of refinement on that would go a long ways towards fixing the issue.

    The interesting thing about it, it's really made this a team effort. If you both run heavy and neither have enough ammo to run the heavy gun someone has to give it up. So I've often found myself giving up one of my guns and grabbing another.

    I don't mind the Eva 8 on drop as long as it has double tap. Eva 8 with double tap on drop just shreds.

  • Seriously now I thank God when I find a good gun on landing, 

    My biggest personal problem is that even if I find a good gun, I have to drop it after a time because I can't find ammo for it

    I pick up a volt I can only find heavy and light ammo, I pick up a flatline only light ammo and energy ammo

    I have to stick with a shotgun and a light weapon because these 2 are the most common what I can find ammo for

  • @DarthValtrex  partially yeah, take yesterday for example, the longbow was in the CS and the sentinels been removed....so there was literally no snipers laying around. Which annoyed me deeply as I like a sniper secondary lol. 😛
