The Loot Teleporter is such a weird idea
I mean, we get it, teleportation and of all things, time travel, exist in the Titanfallverse. It's 'experimental' and comes with so many paradoxes it'll give you a stomach virus, but all that aside...
...it's a game, right?
It's still bonkers from a game perspective, though. Wraith, pretty established, has a unique ability to phase shift. Then, uh, Loba uses a bracelet that lets her do a teleport. Cool, no problems from game play, though it's way out there that it exists in lore. Then...there's a mega phase shifter thing on Olympus, letting everyone do it but showing how ungainly it is and hard to do, and uh, doesn't protect you from the ring because...game. Of course Ash, but Ash comes from way back. The thing is that it was her Titan that could teleport and now she can herself, with a special, I guess..sword.
Now, though, we have all of Olympus phase teleporting. And what comes out of it is some crazy terrain and a loot dropper. It's for sure fun, but it's just so damn weird. Punch a button, and then from wherever else punchable crates are stored, they come falling out of the sky.
It's almost a good thing they don't try to explain this from a story perspective because how would it ever make sense?
