I've been a KC guy for awhile now but these changes where rotations are severely limited and jump towers removed are really poorly thought through. I get that people whined a lot about 3rd partying and this was done to help them but limiting options doesn't help at all. Now it's just 3 teams hanging out around the one rotation option you have.

@reconzeroThats why I think they need to give us 30-45 seconds more before Ring 1 starts to close. I know they want to make you feel like you are "on the run" because the season is called Hunted, but it puts too much emphasis on luck when picking an edge POI for drop. Maybe improve the loot density and quality in the edge POI's for it to be a better risk reward decision. As it is now, you're very likely to get obliterated with minimal gear entering the ring from those.

@hayhorI'm slowly growing accustomed to the jump tower reconfiguration. The only real problem, imo, is the delete of the three towers that surrounded what used to be Salvage. You want to get across the southern end of the map then you go on foot. Not great but not the end of the world.The new timer is not as horrendous as I thought at first, but there are still matches where I look at my drop and I look at circle one in the opposite corner of the map and I think, "Can I make that? Yes. Do I really want to try knowing that I'll arrive with practically no gear and a three-squad welcome? Nah, I'll just quit and start over." The dev should not be making decisions where an unlucky drop makes the match unplayable.

@dSKyNafinchin Relic is much better than old skulltown.I've only played pubs so far but I cannot imagine any decent level in ranked being fun if you get unlucky with the ring vs your drop point. Valk would be a must pick.

@hayhor I can definitely see that being annoying. I've been pretty lucky so far, and haven't run into a whole lot of "gate-keeping". I've been enjoying the rework, but then again, I haven't really played much ranked yet (I've only gone from Bronze IV up to Bronze I so far), so my opinion could very well change, when I do. I haven't had that issue in pubs though.

Am I the only one that actually prefers Relic over the original Skulltown? I can't remember if I've seen much love for it. I actually love the new POI. It's still pretty close to ST, but there aren't anywhere NEAR as many people dropping there anymore, at least in my lobbies. KC seems to have the most disbursed drops, in my games.

I still wish they would bring back the OG King's Canyon as an LTM..

I can definitely see that. I'm pretty sure once I get up into Gold, that's when I'll start having the issue. Luckily, I main Pathy, so I have some mobility. That being said, it sure would be nice if I could heal on my dang ziplines!!! If it starts to be a trend for me, I might have to start trying to main Valk in ranked. I'm just so attached to Path...

KC feels so much better in rank now compared to the season 12 KC rank split. Can't really speak about the changes in pubs since I only played 5 games of pubs so far. It's the firing range and then straight to rank is usually how we go. LOL.
Those 2 back platforms at Relic are really good with a lot of bins. You can also climb inside of the pipes and rat (but not really since Seers are everywhere).

@hayhor Still enjoying KC, but the 3rd parties hasn’t changed in the slightest, they just made it more frustrating to navigate the map with the removal of jump towers and that new bloody ring change is awful. New skull town is ok, but not as good as the old version.

@reconzero Think about how bad this new ring timer will be on a map like SP or WE.

On warzone they show the first ring at the start of the game. They'll have to do that on the big maps.
