It’s complete garbage in close combat now. It’s wildly inconsistent. I’ll post a video, but it took 5 shots to down a caustic with no shields and we were in the same room... he had a mozambique and nearly downed me.
from there I was on the top of train station and I was fairly close to a player, it was only hitting for 16, 24 and then 30. It should be hitting for 60-70 in this situation. Video will follow..
I pres choked a dude square in the chest and it registered as 9 damage earlier, had to laugh.
Otherwise it's been pretty consistent for me for the most part.
I have had it happen too. But the gun is wildly inconsistent now. It’s a lot like the Eva 8, the Eva 8 is trash IMO because of its bullet pattern. It’s only good when you’re right on the person, within 5 meters, outside of that the gun is trash because of the bullet spread you’ll be lucky to hit more than a handful of rounds. Eva is good if all the bullets hit, keyword is IF.
i won’t pick up shotguns anymore. You’re better off going with just about anything else so long as you land your shots.
@DarthValtrex The EVA-8 shoots in a pentagon pattern. And the Peacekeeper in a star pattern.
Shoot the eva 8 at a wall.. it’s an 8 shape not a pentagon. The massive holes in the bullet spread are what kill the gun in my opinion.
yes the PK can still land for 100 but it’s extremely inconsistent. It also has hit registration issues. I’ve shot at people with them in the hip fire square and it misses or it only does 16-30 damage. I won’t touch them anymore. I can outshoot a PK with a hemlock, R-99 or G7 depending on the range.
you need to aim improvement not PK improvement. PK already OP
The peacekeeper nerf was just what the doctor ordered. You’re probably just so used to it being the best overall gun in the game prior to the nerf. It’s in a good place, strong but not obnoxiously strong.
Funny how I don’t have aim issues with anything but shotguns..
Ya a nerf was needed, but the gun is trash now. Players won’t pick it up anymore. They want too, but since the nerf no one wants it. The hip fire cross hair might need a reduction.
