I feel like the ring speed from the ‘always be closing’ LTM and the new ‘flashpoint’ mode is the perfect speed, enough to slowly nudge you into the centre and say “okay this is where the game is moving to so just make sure you get there eventually”.Not “ARGGGGHHHHHH QUICKLY GO GO GO! ABANDON EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE, MAKE IT TO THE NEXT ZONE OR DIE TRYING!!!!!!!seriously it’s way too fast, it forces you to abandon teammates and abandon fights and screws over slower characters with no mobility. Enemies should be the main threat of the game, the ring should only act as a deterrent that slowly nudges you along to the next zone

@Bean2kay9 it is not. Just use that non-mechanical pc in your noggin’ to keep away from it. You know upon the disappearance of the dropship where the next circle is. Plan ahead and factor in variables like meeting teams.

@Bean2kay9 I think the rings are okay for the most part. I rarely die to them or because of them. The first ring is easy to out run and does hardly any damage.Now the second ring does not mess around. I think it should be like that.. When ring 2 starts to close you should be done looting and looking at positioning into the next rings not messing around out side of it. There are plenty of jump towers and ziplines to get you into position.The only times I have died to second ring are when my squad mates want to push fights way outside of the circle or they spend to much time looting.

@DoYaSeeMe I’ve dropped on Flashpoint quite literally at a point I had less than 20 seconds to loot or the ring would eat my team because I tend not to loot at where the storm is coming from xD. Fun times tho xD

I play with non-randoms for laughs and basically no solo unless for daily treasure so I hardly care for anything that happens :PYesterday was funny with @GH0STEDbyME and his fiancee cause funny stuff like that kept happening since I’m usually the JM and keep hotdropping with no regard for anything at all xDbtw have you received my reply?

Ring speed varies on which side of the circle you're running to, so yes on the widest side it is pretty damn fast, yet on the smallest side it moves at a snail pace.
Like the koochmeister said though, don't get caught in it to start with and you won't have a problem lol.

@Bean2kay9 You like the ring in Flashpoint? Well, when the final ring is in t Rig or Gauntlet, try dropping on the other side of the map (Gauntlet / Rig, duhh)

@Bean2kay9 I had this issue with World's Edge sometimes the ring just feels like the main enemy and you have to ignore everything else.

@Bean2kay9 It's not too fast, it might be slightly too fast on Worlds Edge but on Kings it's really not.

Pick your fights wisely and loot quickly!

@Koochi-Q We did this too. I tell my friend we are dropping way to close to where the ring is going to start. He tells me it will be fine. 5 seconds after landing I hear the oh crap the ring is right here already 😂
