They really need to introduce a penalty for leaving or give us Solo mode

I think you mean "and". There should be a leaver penalty *and* a solo mode. Best for everyone. People want to get butthurt, leave, and screw over their team? Cool, penalty for you. You deserve. You think other players are "holding you back" or you just want to complete challenges without others breathing down your neck? Solo mode for you.

No one should have much reason to complain with these implemented. If you don't want to be a "team player", you don't have to be. And hopefully a Solo mode and leaver penalties would encourage those to not screw over their squad and/or go play by themselves if they have issues with teammates.

I mean, not sure what we would do about AFK players. But, baby steps, I guess. These two things would be better than what we have now. I've literally seen people on Twitter who don't want to use No Fill, because of the 1v2/1v3 issue (and I don't blame them, it sucks). But some of them also feel that they shouldn't get penalized for leaving games. You shouldn't be able to have it both ways. It's why I think a Solo option would be better. It would give people who don't want teammates a legitimate option of playing by themselves. But, would also help the leaver issue in Duos or Trios in some way. Yeah, it won't stop it completely. But it's better than just nothing deterring people from quitting games.
