This game is too free, and it will rot

I rarely encounter cheaters as often as I did. A few weeks back I would get 3-5 a day on average, I maybe see 1 a day now sometimes not even that and I spend a considerable amount of time playing, about 440 hours on record. 

From the UK by the way so I can't compare to asian servers.

Hello fellow UK chap, how are you ?

You know there are lots of players in Asia right, Philipines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, then not to speak millioins of decent players from China ( including me and we are not cheating at all )

What about us, everyone from east Asia and SE Asia, the stupid dev ignored all the players in Asia.

Such simple thing the dev had simply given up on such a large part of the players.

What do you think ?

Servers are flooded in NA. Idk if the game being free or not is the solution. Many people paid for the aimbot software I'm sure.

Proper security is the solution, I'm sure they'll resolve it soon enough.

I kind of feel the same way.  I saw the most cheaters the week it launched amazingly enough.  after the first banwave barely any.    but I do still see them once in a blue.  also cause I watch alot of streamers on twitch.   but in general I think whats happening is the top guys are getting better and the bottom guys are getting worse lol.   Probably cause premades which is natural.  but not alot of us are still in school with tons of people to play with lol.   What we need is ranked match making to retain players.  I'm for some form of elo based on wins.  So i don't have to play with hot dropping skill stat pad quitters!!!.     .  would love the more stats or just make them easier to see also.

The team mentioned this earlier in the month. The team is still committed to improving anti-cheat efforts going forward.

CHEATERS

As of today we’ve banned over 355K players on PC through Easy-Anti-Cheat. The service works but the fight against cheaters is an ongoing war that we’ll need to continue to adapt to and be very vigilant about fighting. We take cheating very seriously and care deeply about the health of Apex Legends for all players.

We are working on improvements to combat cheaters and we’re going to have to be pretty secretive about our plans. Cheaters are crafty and we don’t want them to see us coming. With that said, we can share some high levels things we’re doing:

• We are reaching out and working directly with experts, both within and outside of EA, in this area that we can learn from.

• Scaling up our anti-cheat team so we have more dedicated resources.

• We are adding a report feature on PC to report cheaters in game that goes directly to Easy-Anti-Cheat.
