This is Just Disrespectful

Right, I don't get the whole gambling with points thing or the purpose of it.  Right now I'm Rookie 4 with massive negative points even though I won one ranked match and have like a dozen kills.  I have a goal to hit Rookie 3 by the end of the season, but if I don't I'm not gonna sweat it since I mostly play pubs anyway.  I think the points are more for lasting longer than they are for kills.

I can't believe anyone still plays ranked after they made the changes they made.  What's the point?  You play against your skill level no matter your rank, so it's just who grinds more.  

Yeah if you don't play ranked, they de-rank you every split.  Used to be that would mean lower skill lobbies and then you rank back up to your skill rank.  Now you get whatever EOMM or SBMM says you should get no matter your rank.  It's completely pointless to rank up.

My silver lobbies are chock full of 20 bomb Master and Pred triple stacks.  This was unheard of before the change.   A silver lobby was a silver lobby, higher ranks were kept out.  I had a top 50 current Pred team in my Silver lobby last split.  It's just dumb.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't want to play against good competition.  I'm saying, if the game thinks I belong against these people, how am I ever ranked Silver?  It's the combo of deranking when you don't play and new matchmaking rules that makes ranked pointless for me.  I've already made it to Master and don't grind enough for Pred, why would I now grind through Masters lobbies while labeled Silver?  Who is this system benefiting?
