This just happened…

Me and two randoms drop in hot to fragment. All three of us proceed to separate and do our own thing. I get a vault key quickly and signal my desire on the map to go to the vault. No followers. So I halt my exit from fragment but I run into a squad that keeps me away from my two solo team mates. One goes down. I approach his position but I have little ammo and I see at least two enemy waiting above him to shoot down his would be rescuers—me. My other team mate is camping four buildings away. I resume searching for a good load out as I work my way to a better angle for my downed buddy! My downed buddy finally starts talking and expressing his dismay that no one came to help him. Okay, here’s my message to all you kamikaze hot drop soloists: don’t talk trash when your daring-do lets you down and till then you’ve ignored your team mates.

    @Frosty20203 To be fair did you ignore your teammates and run away from them to go to a vault when they had no desire to go or attempt to go? I never blame my randoms because most of my deaths are on my own account of weird or dumb plays i tried. The vault is not a desire like it use to be. 80% of the time you will find on the ground or in death boxes that will be 100% better than what you can at times find in a vault. No one hardly goes to them anymore unless right beside them. Taking a adventure out side of the main areas though most will not want to do it just is not worth the trip.

    @E9ine_AC I signaled to go to the vault and since I was on my own anyway because both randoms were off on their own as I fought and won against an enemy, I started going to the vault. Barely got past the elevated road when I realized no one was following and instead they were both still playing solo in separate parts of fragment. I decided to go find one of them at that time and that’s when one went down. When randoms start trash talking you after their plans fall through, it’s annoying. Also annoying are team members who talk to you through the robot voice (keyboard players?) and denigrate the fact you’re not as good as them (likely true in my case, though they’re the ones who are dead). I find nothing wrong with trying to suggest and start a team plan.

    @Frosty20203 You are correct but this is the downside of playing with randoms. Not all will follow and not all will be team players. Just because you ping an area does not mean the randoms need to follow being in frag that is more of a running away from action and not being in action. Which a lot want to be in action not running from it. (Not at all saying you run from conflicts or fights) just more so thinking of how i would look at it if i was one of those randoms. One thing i would not do though is trash talk you if i was to die or you did. I will go out of my way to get your banner. Not all randoms are cool calm and collective and understanding sadly. Just a risk us solo queue folks have to account for.
