The game was designed with diversity in mind with characters of different ethnicities and sexualities. I don't get why celebrating diversity and sexuality is something political and offensive to other people?
Haters gonna hate. I'm really looking forward to the day when no one discusses sexuality, when we get to the point where a person's sexuality is so inconsequential that people wouldn't even think to mention it. I'm pretty old, hopefully I'll see that day. As for the badge I'll probably fly it, why not? I've always liked rainbows.
Keep these things out of games, this is not the place for them. I have no problem with anyone based on sexuality or race, or whatever but this is a can of worms. I have already seen it on the forums. "there's a BLM badge, why isn't there a pride badge?", " I didn't get the BLM badge, make it available at all times because I want it and I didn't play at that time" etc. This is little more than the people that change social media or game platform usernames for a few days so they can show how virtuous they are and it has nothing to do with playing games, or this game. We all watch or read the news, are things not complicated enough right now without it encroaching into games? Once you start promoting certain causes there will always be people demanding other causes are also included and getting upset when they aren't.
I just prefer my games to be neutral. I know I don't have to equip the BLM or the Pride badge, or the Stop Asian Hate badge ( which I don't really understand, I am from the UK and I didn't realise there was such a thing as Asian Hate really ). For me, games are escapism. I don't appreciate the encroachment and believe it has no place in this environment.

Virtue signaling tells me all I need to know about how you conduct yourself in society and it isn't doing anyone any REAL good. It just keeps driving the division ramming stuff normal people do not care about down their throats. It simply doesn't matter.
