@PiabeticIt's not about being offensive or not, but just imagine, making a character gay or straight, does it really make any difference at all? No, well at least not to me, who the character likes to sleep with doesn't affect my gameplay at all. So instead of making a game where 17 legends are all straight, or white, or really anything at all, just making them all the same is not really something realistic at all. So instead of making all characters straight for example, they just make some characters from the LGBT community, because after all, is more realistic than in a group of 17 people there is at least non-straight person. Not showing diversity just gives society the image of LGBT people as non-existant, and is mainly the reasons of discrimination. I hope I made you see my point and make you understand the need to show diversity in all forms, not only on games, but also movies, tv shows, etc
And idk, as LGBT I like to have representation somewhere, as really most people on videogames are just straight dudes, this game has all kind of diversities for people to actually feel represented.

Being represented and acknowledged is a HUGE way to make people feel accepted + equal and also reduces prejudice. It always makes me laugh that the only people who seem to have any problems with this stuff are straight white males who have been represented in everything forever.
