Tips for Plat Ranked as a solo player
Hi Drongos. I'm not really one for ranked (never got past gold) but gave it a go this season with Valk and surprised myself in getting to Plat in about four playing sessions. Ditching Valk for Fusey...

@EdwardDLuffy It might be worth considering a mobility legend if you're gonna solo queue plat?
At least if your teammates turn out to be not so great you can make an escape when a fight goes south.
Again as stated previously, being a tad selfish will probably help somewhat also, unless your team are cooperative (if they are then you're damn lucky).
Finally....expect your rp to be a roller coaster lol, don't let it bum you out.
@MandatoryIDtag Totally agree with what mando said about mobility. This why I questioned switching from valk to fuse. You need to be able to get out of bad situations. All flinging knuckle clusters will do is let a team know hey there's a lone fuse who can't get away.
- @hayhor I only play Fuse if I am going to stick with the squad. If I am flying solo, it's Valk.
Switched to Pubs yesterday and it was just as bad. In one game I was left 1 v 3 by my squad; downed two and reduced Mirage to skin but he got me. My TMs came running in and seemed completely befuddled by the fact Mirage had climbed on top of a box. He didn't heal or use an ability but still downed my TMs with ease. I cried.@EdwardDLuffy I love jumping back over the box's or rocks, esp in arenas, when running out of sight of the persuing opponant, usually not expecting the attack from the top. Think its outside their field of view too😃
- @OldTreeCreeper Yeah but the thing is, Mirage's decoys can't climb up onto a box. It's the biggest tell there is which guy to shoot at when facing Mirage ult!
- @EdwardDLuffy I said it because you said you were going to stop worrying about teammates. Unfortunately you have to decide this before the game starts. 🤷♂️
