Tomorrow's Patch?
So one huge thing besides all of the buffs/nerfs, Evo shield, and backpack changes and muzzle flash changes that I never heard in the dev stream was footstep and sound audio is really messed up right...
You think it's funny but on multiple occasions I've had someone melt me 2 ft around a corner and you can't hear him run up.. Me and my brother both concider this huge in our game play and we're both predators
@CASEYDlLLA I can assure you @ColdHours isn't laughing at you. Everyone has had audio issues that's gotten them killed at one point or another, and a ton of people have been asking for a fix. They've been dead quiet on said issues for maybe a season and a half now? I remember before Season 3 started someone here on the forums optimistically told me they MIGHT address it once season 3 started.
Remember, these are the guys who took 3 and a half seasons to address the ridiculous muzzle flash, and about 287 days (from the earliest recorded forum thread to the patch from when said feature was implemented) to add a feature to cancel finishers.
@iBlockHead it's absolutely not as easy as turning down muzzle flash brightness. I've taken a coding class, and it took me 4 50 minute sessions to fully debug a game a tic-tac-toe. There's no shame in releasing fixes players have been asking for slowly, nor am I trying to come off as some snob that's trying to bash the game for the sake of bashing the game. Take your time, release a quality product, that's my belief.
TL:DR: Slowly releasing a quality product is good. Slowly releasing a product without telling anyone what's going on is bad. Imagine going into Subway but the store is pitch black, you order, they hand you a sandwich, and 25-75% of what you said wasn't addressed.
There is shame however in not having transparency in what's going on in the behind the scenes. Shame in very blatantly releasing re-hashed content with spruced up skins and not mentioning anything at all about changes that are upcoming / people have been asking for. Shame in pushing collection events and advertising new changes to keep players playing, rather than making quality of life changes for crashes, slow servers, poor hit-registration, etc. etc. etc. Other games that I've played keep you in the loop, Warframe has a developer stream almost every Friday, Deep Rock Galactic notifies you on their Steam news page every single time ANYTHING at all is done to the game for both current and upcoming changes, heck even League of Legends with their terrible balance team even told you up front when, where, and why changes are happening on a weekly / monthly basis.
And this is absolutely NOT to knock on their modeling and design department. The skins they pump out are PHENOMINAL. I do 3D modeling as a hobby, and designing, texturing, animating, etc. etc. is super difficult. But when you see how high end these skins are, knowing the time and effort they put into them, but then not having any mention of issues that have been a thing for seasons past, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth personally.

What they will do however is decide to "fix" players doing things they didn't intend.
Increase activation time for Bloodhounds scan from 0.4 to 0.8 seconds because they didn't "intend" for players to use it in combat to gain the upper hand before peeking around a corner?
Who in world other than themselves has ever thought that was a problem? Players carrying too many nades? Nobody in the world considered it a problem. It came with it's own assured drawbacks even tho successes with an ordnance attack is never guaranteed.
Bizarre how they are so out of touch.
All that hubbub about bloodhound players behaving bad and doing no no stuff with their scan. But they're perfectly fine with the relentless quitting and abandoning in pubs games.
No solo's or any of the stuff players want, but plenty of skins to sell and ridiculous attempts to micromanage how players decided they tactical should be used.
@WingmannedbroI actually thought that peek advantage was the whole point of bloodhound and why I occasionally used him. Being 3x the range I guess you'll be quite noticeable using tactical, risky taking nearly a whole second to activate and pretty useless by the time you enter a town. I won't judge before release but it doesn't sound like a great improvement.
As for the champion buffs and nerfs... They were needed and should be useful. As op as gibby is they need to buff everyone a bit
