Top Combos

So while playing dailies yesterday I suddenly got that thread-making feeling cause I realized something. I had the best team composition combo for reviving. When I had that in mind I started thinking about other team composition combos for other scenarios to make the thread more multidimensional.

So these are in my opinion the best team comp in the different scenarios:

Best revive:

Caustic/Bangalore + Mirage when reviving third when you need to stay hidden. Caustic gasses/Bangalore smokes and mirage revives.

Alternatively for a less hidden approach:

Gibraltar + Lifeline when reviving third. Gibby throws dome & lifeline revives.

Best breaking & entering:

Bangalore + Octane. First bangalore smokes and octane rushes inside while third stays outside at another opening other than where Bang is located.

Best flushing out (house):

Caustic + Bang. First Caustic throws smoke inside forcing the ppl to either sit tight & get damaged or move around and be heard. When moving around bang throws smoke to further blind them.

Best flushing out (in the open):

Caustic + bang. Basically same as before but now Bang can use her ult as well. Alternatively this can also be done with Gibby but without smoke.

Best get-away:

Pathfinder + Wraith + Octane.

No doubt about this. First Pathfinder zips away, Wraith first on zip and at the end jumps off and uses her ult and Octane at the portal jumppad’s away.

Why not Wraith first? Well then you’d have 2 teammates waiting instead of just one.

Best enemy tracking:

Bloodhound + wraith

Bloodhound obviously for tracking footsteps and wraith’s passive to know if for instance that team or another is nearby.

@Koochi-Q I'm surprised you didn't add Horizon in there at all. Flushing enemies out or mobility wise

@GH0STEDbyME I kinda understand why you’d think that but all in all, unless they’re at the center of the singularity, you don’t clearly see them unless you step close, are in gravity lift, teleported, ziplined or jumppadded over them or are BH or have a crypto done looking at them to accurately land shots.

With caustic/bang/gibby combo you draw them out into the open or with caustic you can advance without help. That’s why I think that combo is more effective.

@Koochi-Q It would be more people scrambling to get out of it's range than anything. I've been using her grav lift quite a bit to push or reposition. I'm wondering if you can put it on doors like throwing a jump pad at it to launch someone blocking it on the other side?

Or using her tactical to reposition downed teammates.

@Koochi-Q Best squatters: Caustic, Wattson and Lifeline. Anyone pushing is dead and they can never wear down from outside as lifeline just keeps healing you. I'd really love to try this combo on scrap mountain. Fence and barrel all entry points and just play king of the hill all game.

@GH0STEDbyME I've seen people use the horizon tactical to block doors while healing.

I had a good horizon throw her ult in my way after I downed her teammate and hurt her. The slight delay in shoot out the ultimate gave her lifeline teammate the time to revive the 3rd and horizon to heal.

@hayhor I saw someone use Horizons ULT to suck my downed teammate through a door. His teammate opened and closed the door at just the right time. I was amazed. Just trying to revive him like bro chill xD

@GH0STEDbyME I’ve done the door block multiple times. It’s fun when it works. usually tho I either overthrow or underthrow so it’s like 1/2m from doorframe...

Using it for downed teammate isn’t as good as I thought. With jumppad you have more airtime and maneuverability, with this it’s straight up and a lil horizontal movement.

I did use my ult to cover myself & I think it was with hayhor so we could heal up and it worked.

@hayhor good one on the squatters.

@Koochi-Q Yeah but this was literally like he got sucked through into the portal. Ult was thrown, door was opened, teammate yanked out, door was closed and I was just left like what just happened xD

I miraculously undershot a Caustic ult the other day. Used the aiming guideline, jumped off a ledge as I threw it and it just flopped forwards as if thrown by a child.

@GH0STEDbyME I, on 2 occasions, hit an object while throwing Horizon’s ult when engaging final team... both times we lost... xD. We might’ve still lost but both times if the thing didn’t hit an object right next to me it would’ve been right beside the enemy ☹️

@Koochi-Q I think it depends on the situations.

Best flushing team I can think of would be Caustic, Bang and Bloodhound. Gas+Smoke+Bloodhound ult and scan. Good luck surviving that coming at you unless there is a major skill gap.

I still think Life Line is the best at reviving mid fight. Simply because you don't have to have a teammate out of the fight.

I'm not a huge fan of sending 1 teammate in to 1vs3 an enemy squad. If you're going to push into a building with enemies all 3 should push in together. When you got in 1 by 1, you tend to get focus fired on.

Gibi pairs really well with Horizon, black hole + Gibi ult is devastating to enemy teams.

Caustic has turned into one of the better aggressive legends. The Tridents have made him really good at pushing enemy squads. I was I've come very close to a triple triple with him and the tridents.
