TOS?!

I've submitted 8 appeals for the ban on my account over the past 2 months, to no avail.  I am receiving responses within an hr.  It's difficult to believe my case is going into queue, being opened and read by someone, a "full investigation" being performed, and finally a response sent to me within an hour.  The last appeal I submitted just 40 minutes ago and received a response within 10 minutes.  Is there no way to escalate the issue?  How often do you see cheaters spend 2 months and 8 appeals attempting to get the ban lifted?  Actual cheaters will just move on and create a new account.  Is there no hope beyond the broken email appeal system?  I'm fully aware that no one on this forum can provide me assistance but the level of customer support is absurd.  When the TOS team or Customer Support team are not providing quality support, how is anyone to file a complaint?  Seems like the organization doesn't care about the voice of the customer.

Spending an extended amount of time trying to get an unban does not prove innocence.

Most cheater bans are done automatically by the anticheat too, so the chance of a false ban decreases by quite a bit from what I'm aware.

If the ToS team has turned down your appeals multiple times then the decision is pretty much permanent and nothing will change this.

Sending more tickets will just be a bother, so it's overall recommended to not make any new tickets for this issue as this can be ground for giving out another punishment.

If you want to file a complain then that can be done via https://help.ea.com/contact-us/

    Hi @E4silyKill3d

I appreciate you reaching out to us, but I'm afraid we can't assist with account bans here on Answers HQ. It would be up to the Terms of Service team to review the account and see if the rules were broken or if the ban can be lifted. If they determined that the ban should remain in place, I'm afraid that means the account will stay banned.

If you have new or additional information that was not originally included that you feel would help with the ban review, you're welcome to create a new appeal. It's as @XHelperZ shared though; ultimately, there are only so many times the same information can be reviewed while hoping for a different outcome, however so there is a limit on the amount of appeals that can be sent in for the same ban review, please keep that in mind.

  • @E4silyKill3d Hey man sorry to hear what you’re going through, I myself was curious about boosting cause I’ve been hearing about it a lot so I decided to give it a try for a 4k badge, while being promised by the founder that his boosters don’t cheat, yet here I am. I’ve appealed a lot of time like you, I’ve given every evidence I believe I could, now I’m just sending a lengthy apology email and basically tell them that I learned from my mistake. I am not looking to be unbanned and everything is sunshine and rainbows. I still want to be punished just a less severe punishment. I want to prove that this is not the person I am or want to be and will do whatever it takes to earn that trust back. I lied at the beginning because I was ashamed but once I came to realize what I did was wrong, I brought all the evidence and apologies with it. I was like you with my cases being done in less then 10 minutes. My last dispute was the lengthy apology email I mentioned was 3 days ago and still being looked at. So all I’m going to tell you is own you to whatever it is you did or didn’t do, be honest, be patient, and don’t spam like I did, time to reflect on your actions will help but you gotta be honest.
  • @Flyy_Asf it's sounds like your punishment was deserved.  With all do respect, I don't believe we share the same values.  I don't care about badges, stats, or bragging rights.  I'm a 39yr old parent of 2 children, and I play Apex with one of them.  I've played since the first season.  I care more about the time and $ invested into the account.  Which is all at a loss now.  Honesty only process results if someone is willing to listen.

No disrespect taken, I definitely deserved what I got, it’s definitely a learning lesson for me, It just sucks that for my first ever offense is permanent, and I understand the stances that the TOS team had to take. I would just respect if we had a bit more of a human interaction to break down what we did wrong and why it’s a problem and see if there’s  a way forward. To answer your other statement I don’t care about stats and what not I just was genuinely curious how boosting worked so I did it. My concern is your concern with the money and time we invested in the game.

  • @E4silyKill3d Sadly I think they will deny your appeal indefinitely. The punishments are hard to discourage folks from breaking TOS, sadly sometimes people get caught in it in the wrong.
And yeah, appealing for 2 months wouldn't be the first time a genuine cheater would have appealed.
I remember talks on Reddit of a guy trying to get his sorted for the guts of 8 months.
Turns out he had paid for the account that had a tonne of badges, skins and heirlooms.
So yeah, he lost a lot of money. But that's what ya get when you don't give EA their cut.

Words are cheap, actions are what actually matters.  No one is ever going to get unbanned based on saying "I'm ever so sorry and I promise to never do it again."  That's not how life works.
