@CCbathwaterI get armor by killing those with it. When they die it drops on the ground. Almost everyone on the map is blue so it doesn't make much difference anyway. As caustic I can take more damage. 😈
What gun thing? I've never noticed. Does it stop firing when it upgrades?
@hayhor But without me, apparently there's hardly any purple or gold. When I'm Lifeline there's so much purple and gold going around.

Weapons are automatically mantled when you upgrade. It's a very unfortunate mechanic. The positive flip side is that if you have a red tier weapon, the ammo will be renewed. Tier up by making some krab kills, and you'll get a fresh krab!
