Unable to join club; account is already linked to a club on another platform

The title says it all. I can't join or create a club, yet my 'club' section looks as if I haven't joined a club and should find one. With the marvin guy and everything. I even get random invites fro...

UPDATE: It worked after I completely closed the game down, it even made the club I was trying to start but couldn't due to the error.

Same exact problem. Trying to create a club, it's telling me I'm already in one yet I'm not since this is the first thing I'm trying to do right when the new season started.
