To keep it short: applied stress load on building structure.
In college I had a whole semester of formulas on wind shear, velocity, gravity etc. The final exam was a blueprint for an arched bridge with directional velocity.
It took 4 hours to complete the exam question of structural degradation and possible points of fatique as well as points of high stress. (Alot more than this, but I am trying to keep it short.)
This was over 10 years ago, still haven't built a bridge.
@mastiffslinger So you're saying when I landscape my backyard if I decide I want a bridge over a pond I should give you a call...
