Was Apex movement silently nerfed??

I can't be the only person out there that has noticed a ridiculous difference in Apex movement since last Season 12 patch can I??

Has anyone else suspected a change or noticed Apex smooth and unique movement just off at the moment - and not due to server, lag etc issues? 

While my ping and FPS is sitting at optimal levels without fluctuation, I am baffled at the moment. My connection is great, everything else to hit reg and so on is fine. But movement feels broken, or at least compared to norm Apex movement. Dead slides are happening close to 70% of the time. All speed is almost dead stopped after a slide. I can't wrap my head around the extreme noticeable difference from now to the last 11 Season I've played and gross amounts of hours into this game. 

If I was noticing consistent lag or server issues on the regular, than I would just chalk this up as such - however that is definitely not the issue. A silent nerf would be the only explanation. Although, I see no reason why such a thing would be done and to what benefit? 

Anyone got suggestions or opinions?
