Whines about people saying it's a team-based game -> but it is a team-based game since it's the only game mode -> "But devs released it that way" -> so you knew that it was team-based game and are complaining about a situation you knew before you jumped in.....

Yea you're right we should never ask for changes or improvements to the game respawn should have released apex and never done any updates because they released it that way why change anything at all?
You know what you're right they should remove octane and havoc why change the original game? They werent there on release and respawn isnt allowed to add anything new that would make the game better what an insane and repulsive idea

Words like "obligation" and "obviously" and "want"... Those are all your personal opinions, yet you're projecting them on everyone else and attacking opposing views. I'm not against solos, but to think that I'm obligated by a developer about something I personally want is ignorant. Could the communication be improved? Absolutely. But that's a completely different stance than expecting something.

Yes its a F2P game, yes i dont have to spend anything on it if i dont want to and I haven't nor will i ever until they add solo. I leave matches as soon as die too and once they implement a penalty for that then i uninstall the game and I'll become another statistic for the decline of Apex.
But if people dont get their solo mode they wont spend a nickel on this game. This game a drastically lost it playerbase, how much of that was becauae they said they aren't going to add a solo mode? It would be wise for EA/respawn to listen to whats left of their playerbase especially since EA likes money.

Yea this is a good point hopefully EA is pressuring respawn to add a solo mode as well because they see the games revenue is going down and they want to do everything possible to stop the bleeding and bring people back/keep them as players
Unfortunately this may come down to a money issue rather than a doing whats good for the game issue but either way ill take it because solos needs to be in apex asap

How can you be so indignant about content when you don't support Apex financially? 🤔
What you should really do is contact Respawn's financial director and ask him how much it would cost to develop a solo mode. :ealight_bulk:
Then you and all the others who are desperate for solo mode can fund it yourselves. 😉
On your point about the player base leaving. Game producers who make F2P games know that there is a core of players who will pay for things in game via season pass and micro transactions. It's like a fishing boat trawling for fish. They cast their nets, and when they pull them in they have lots of their primary catch, plus a lot of other stuff which they toss back into the sea. 😛
@warslag i would support this game financially IF they add a solo mode. If im not playing with friends my round last all of 1 min after i land because ever random thinks hes * shroud and drops at skulltown or where ever the hot drop is.
If they ever add a leavers penalty they are going to drive more of their player base away, and then soon you'll be matched with the same groups of people over and over again.
Respawn better smarten up soon, they refuse to add a solo mode and they cant/wont deal with the rampant hackers/cheaters that plauge this game, it's recipe to lose majority of your playerbase that does support your game.
I bought MLB the Show but I'm angry because I can't play tennis and they won't explain why. If they added tennis game players would be a lot more happy.

That's not even a good analogy.
Tennis and Baseball are two totally different games,
Forcing people to solo queue into a squad game is mental. You're 100% banking on the PUGs working well together or risk losing the game. But even if there weren't different characters with different abilities people still play differently.
+ there is currently no real way to grind out experience in the game other than playing it. The best way to get better with the weapon play is by hot dropping and getting as much experience in as possible. Otherwise you're left parousing around the map for 10 - 15 minutes and getting in an occasional fight. I'd rather do 10 hot drops and die in 2 minutes while playing solo than run around and get 1 minute of fight time for every 10 minute game.
Having a solo mode means that players that want to do that and want to improve aren't negatively impacting their team mates. OR if you have a team mate that wants to do that and you want to be a loot goblin and play a long game, you're not down 1 or 2 people.
The games not a team game unless you're playing with friends that play like you, and not everyone has friends online when they are available to play.
