Weapon trials not going through for R99 relentless

I have 2 clips of me downing an enemy using hip fire without releasing the trigger and my progress hasn’t increased at all. Can someone tell me what the issue is?

    I read a helpful thread on reddit on this topic. 

    Essentially, you need one-clip the enemy when they are at 100% full health and shield.  Any damage done by a team mate (or another enemy team), or by yourself, before you execute the hipfire one-clip, voids the chance of fulfilling the challenge.

@pandareno1999 Do you know if it is the same for the EVA-8 full auto thing? (down enemies without releasing the trigger).

    I don't know, but my guess would be yes, it should be similar. I'm not terribly interested in this weapon progression mechanic. I just happened to read a thread about the R99 challenge.
