What about if they extended a season length to accomodate all 3 maps in ranked?Obviously they would have to increase the season overall and would therefore have to increase the battle pass, but it would also give themselves more time to fix things/develop for the next season rather than rushing a new season with band aid fixes every few months?

At the same time, slower content roll can dramatically thin out the playerbase, as only a few of us would wait patiently for new stuff. Content drought is a big game killer.

@HogynDrwg I'd say casual play is more important for them than ranked, and it's here where new content matters the most. The limited time events aren't helping devs that much, they're either too dull when there's low effort involved or take too much effort to be worth it for that short amount of time, unless they can recycle those often. Their limited time frame also causes more work under pressure, a great recipe for more bugs making it to the live game.

@HogynDrwg Nah, we don't need more splits... You can try 2 maps for ranked in one season and that's enough. Pubs will have three map rotations from next week.

@HogynDrwg Those weekly challenges repeat themselves very often. I've had too many of those requiring sniper and shotgun kills to complete, so I'd prefer a challenge pool refresh, besides the heavier changes and new features a season usually brings. Therefore, no!

@DoYaSeeMe i think i know what you're saying mate, but they could still force the silly events that they come up with for new content?
I just think that they should start rotating the 3 maps through the season but i dont really play ranked, only when its a map i dont like on pubs 🙂

@DoYaSeeMe Well the question was meant to open a can of worms and i appreciate your feedback mate. Personally, a longer season wouldn't bother me as a mostly pubs player, as it is, i think the bp is a touch too easy? I completed it without focusing on challenges and i am $&÷£ lol

@HogynDrwg I don't think that the seasons are too short but I do agree that the BP is too easy to finish even for the working men/women in this forum. I think I've finished the BP even before the Genesis event last season. I doubt that they'll lengthen the season since a new season brings hype to the game. Just look at the twitch views yesterday.

@HogynDrwg Although I spent like 30-40% less time in Apex in Season 9, I still managed to finish the BP, complete all weekly challenges and max almost all LTM's (meaning max points and additional badges). BP is indeed very easy, but I think it feels just right for those who don't play every day.
