For me, it's been the constant upheaval and changes to the status quo since Season 2. This all started in Season 3 when YAY! We got a new map!! Only to never see the final Season 2 KC again until halfway into Season 4. I got SOOOO tired of WE that I couldn't even get excited for KC's return.
Then Thunderdome and Skulltown get blown up for Season 5 taking fan favorite drops away as well as messing up the flow between Air Base and Water Treatment.
Every season since, they are forcing a single map in rotation too often which gets tiresome. Or a map will be completely removed for a full season (KC in Season 7, WE in Season 8). We already had KC in exclusive rotation to start the season, now we have it again for this event.
Weapons? Removal of favorites from the loot pool and sent to the care package. Removal of hop-ups that made other options highly viable. Sniper rifles getting their own ammo suddenly making them specialized options.
What's the point of adding content if they keep taking away fan favorite options in the process?
