What is a rampart main supposed to do?!?
I have really fallen in love with rampart. She is my favorite legend by far and I have been playing her consistently for a while now. While I know that she is a bottom tier character, and could use buffs, i loved her abilities and personality. But, from what I have seen from season 8, have to find a new main now. I feel sad and betrayed that apex would take an already bottom tier character and add a hard counter to the game. I mean, rampart has been asking for buffs and changes, but you add a character that is powerful enough to have a large pick rate, that can one shot ALL of her defenses? It’s depressing.
I just don’t understand how that is fair at all to me and the others that love Rampart. It’s like a kick in the gut. One easy to use and shoot TACTICAL ability can destroy all of a ramparts hard worked defenses?
I used to argue on behalf of rampart when people called her a useless legend, but now there is nothing to argue. She truly is useless now.
the only changes I can think of to stop her from having a zero percent pick rate in season 8 is too...
-keep buffing her till finding the right balance
- buff ultimate to be able to look in a 180 degree range
-give shields MUCH more health/make it to where fuse’s tactical can’t one shot the amped covers, it should take 2 tacticals to destroy the cover
-amped cover needs more health when setting up/ reduce amount of time it takes to set up
The main thing is Fuse’s tactical. In no way is it fair that it can nullify the only thing that rampart can do. It can’t one shot ramparts cover, it just can’t.
