Seriously, maybe 2 decent items up there at best, one of which is likely a gold knock down shield. The rest of the squad is left with nothing and you die 99.99% of the time either right then and there or leaving there. Why do people insist on dropping there? You want a gold gun? Give me a break, they are not that great to begin with. The only ones really worth it at the Devo and Havoc. If it's PUBS not a huge deal if you want to try and drop there. But in ranked? It's even worse than dropping to trials on WE. It's not worth it. Drop hammond labs or energy depot then go kill who's ever left over from the waterfall.. They likely won't have health, ammo or both.

@DarthValtrex People love the scenery. The beautiful building below, the waterfall and ofc the incoming grim reaper. All part of the package for being a self obsessed egomaniac... to get that 1 item and fight 1-3 other squads with next to nothing

@DarthValtrexNever understood it myself when it comes to waterfall.A lot land at estates or waterfall, estates I get, at least you have a few buildings you can take cover, you can at least do something there, but me personally I never land there, too much of a crowd fest and the loot is a hit or miss.But on the other hand, I never understood why people land at waterfall, sometimes so many team land there you can smell their sweat trough your monitor, not to mention it's just one building, limited cover and the main thing is, you can't get anything out of it if 10 squads are landing with youEvery time when my rando Rambo teammates pinged waterfall I just detached went to Hammond Labs or sometimes Energy DepotUsually, they didn't even land they were already dead,

The only player I play with regularly INSISTS on dropping waterfall EVERY TIME on Olympus.We must have played over 300 games together and we've won together ... once ... :D

@DarthValtrex Yeah gold gun and a guaranteed blue/purple shield are the reasons. Gotta love when they find the gold Alternator though lol.Another spot i hate is Estates. Always contested by at least 2 teams yet people loves that zone, you have to be very lucky to come out victorious from there. My favorite spot is Solar array, tons of loot and it's rarely contested by more than one team so you can fight them properly if necessary.

@Cro_Pittt Estates is a lot of fun when it's contested by 2 other teams. It's horrible when its contested by 7 teams. I see that and I say nope and break off from my squad hoping they'll follow or give me a chance to grab banners and run. I'm a rather good escape artist unless it involves a bloodhound or an octane chasing me.

The only player I play with regularly INSISTS on dropping waterfall EVERY TIME on Olympus.

@EdwardDLuffy I used to play with someone like that. I got burnt out on it and quit playing with him. Every round he wanted to go to frag or waterfall. There were other reasons I stopped playing with him though. If they want to go there occasionally fine, but every round? I don't get the appeal just drop near it and kill the people who go there. That's what happens every single round, I've yet to see a squad survive that drop if we drop hammond or energy depot then rotate to the waterfall.
