What is this scope for Havoc?

Yesterday saw this one while spectating a player, at first I saw that's a new 3x given I haven't played a lot of Havoc+3x lately, today tested and clearly it is not, could not find a scope that mimics this one.

Any ideas?

@EREGDS I have no idea. This was unlocked with the addition of the custom reticle in game.
  • @hayhorlol, well at least so far there is some clarity.
I am just wondering how the hell people find out about such exploits which in this case may give some competitive advantage, especially if you have no scope/worse-looking scope in-game...I mean if you can make iron sights into something like this, damn this would be an advantage...

It really seems that either Apex is cooperating, leaking info about the bugs they introduce from update to update or hackers just know better what Apex does with its code :D

Total b.s. yet thanks for the info!

@EA people - a comment on the situation would be cool to have! (my Christmas wish = EA actually replying to such cases, giving an official version besides "yes sorry we are looking into it" or being silently ashamed of yet another f-up)

  • Hmmmm can it be this one? But it would be weird if you can also see his reticle settings.

@EREGDS Nah this isn't due to hackers. There are lots of legit programmers that understand game files and know where to look. It is why cheeseman almost always knows what's coming for stuff. All it takes is for one person to make a vid.

As for the EA people question, tagging an actual one would probably be better.
  • @hayhor from what I know it is not that hard if we talk editing cfg files, you just need to know command list (aka what each line actually does in game).

Yet it is clear there is a veeery limited info on that in Apex and also part of the stuff as far as I understand is forced onto client machine by a server - you can change stuff locally yet it will not work.

Crazy how above said is true yet you still have cases where people can make such a huge change as crosshair. Reminds me of that video where a person changed game's graphics via nvidia panel and lodbias setting change <- known parameter of the Apex base engine.

Anyway thanks for the info, if someone knows how to manipulate cfg files post here or PM, I would gladly take a look at other crosshair options :P

@EREGDS Personally I wouldn't do it. You never know what's going to trigger a ban.

If you want to go that route I'm sure a Google search will show the way. I just don't want to see a "I was wrongfully banned" post in a month.
  • @hayhor I just don't want to see a "I was wrongfully banned" post in a month. :D :D :D nah, I have made up my mind regarding this - if Apex bans me my solution will be to go to control panel -> programs -> remove/uninstall

And google did not help, all I got was numerous pages of how to change the color of the crosshair <- damn google knows how advanced people in Apex are given the first X pages explain in detail how to go into the damn settings menu in the game and press custom color :D very advanced steps worth making tutorials and video guides about :P
