What is your favorite mode in Apex? Ranked or Ranked?

Armed & Dangerous Duos in Unranked Trios 🙂. That's landing safe as the 3rd gets disconnected before the drop, then getting weaponized to the teeth, then third partying everyone as they back out from the battle to heal, taking the win in the end against the solo kill leader that couldn't carry his teammates this far 🙂.

@SethCurryIt's sarcasm, meaning pubs is now harder than ranked mode. I've noticed the difference, like a huge difference since last Friday.

My lobbies are so sweaty it's not even funny. To those saying you haven't noticed a difference, I question as to why, cause it hit me pretty hard with nothing but Preds, premades of 10k kill per duos, and heavy 3rd partying all weekend.

And yes, this was all existing and definitely present in prior games, but they somehow narrowed down the level bracket even more so that the game isn't fun for me anymore, especially since pubs should be just that, casual play. SBMM is definitely a thing in pubs, but why did they have to thinker with it is beyond me, it was fine the way it was before.

Edit* I'm seeing lots of sub level 20, with 20 bomb badges, and 4k kill badges, if that isn't a big enough clue that SBMM is out of wack....

Might just be that most players are done with the BP and have reached their desired or ceiling rank and now just play casual for "easier" kills. 

I know I did this once I got to Diamond. Rank was more work than casual, where I could 1v3  if they had one teammate who was buns vs rank where all 3 players are coordinated and able to blow you in the rear if you breath the wrong way. 

But it could also just be smurfs or whatnot. I haven't seen any 20K players since start of season 3 but that might just be my skill level matching me up with booty players like me.

I either get a lobby of full in predators or potatoes. Either way my “team” seems to be the same. The game I just finished is a good example. Caustic has two kills and like 400 damage. We were in capitol city the whole game. I was moving through a caustic fog everywhere I went. I think most of his damage was definitely gas. 

This has become the norm for me. There really is no balance. I am not sure what the answer is. I do know that Kong’s canyon never felt this way though.

This makes sense, because when I play past midnight, the opponent with higher skill is increased, I'm guessing these ranked bois can't get a match in ranked since it's off-peak time they go normal queue.

People complaining about SBMM, if they want to chill and not worry about getting stomped, they should go play single player maybe or ask Respawn for co-op PvE mode. Multiplayer PvP is supposed to be competitive not the other way around, you should be on all your toes all the time.
