What the * why can't I leave games in comp after I die

What the * why can't I leave games in comp after I die. There needs to be a timer. He just picks up my banner and doesnt res me and i'm stuck watching some guy run around and hide? Did no one think of this? Either take a ban for ten minutes or wait 5-20 minutes. Awesome. Makes you're game really fun and not frustrating at all. Like just put a time out timer of like two or three minutes after death and you can leave without penalty. You wouldnt have to leave but it doesnt let people trap you in games. Like EA cmon youre one of the biggest devolpers out there how does this not get thought through? I just dont understand why you would make it like this

    Yup it sucks, most players who attempt to hide through a match are actually getting you placement  points though which is better than getting dropped and losing the max amount of points due to leaving.

    Just go make a coffee or something?do a little social media scrolling? Play a mobile game? Or hell, just don't play ranked lol.

    Beats a ban that accumulates.

    @cookie-99ish Hi, as mentioned you'll be getting "free" points so you might want to stay anyway, but a change was made a while back if someone isn't respawning you. 


    "RANKED MODE: Players will no longer receive a penalty for abandoning a match if they leave after 2 and a half minutes have passed since their Banner was picked up after dying. As a reminder: players will be warned via the menus if their leaving may trigger abandon penalties; if the warning does not show up players are free to leave. "

    Either you didn't wait for more than 2.5 minutes or you didn't get banned.
